Lucille discretely squeezed Spencer’s hand under the table.
Spencer faked a cough and said huskily, “Sweetie, should I continue to warm the bed for you tonight?”
No one had expected Spencer to say something like that. Lucille was surprised as well. She looked at him with wide eyes.
Everyone looked at Spencer like they had seen a ghost. Had he gone
mad?
If they wanted to flirt with each other so much, they could do it at home. It was not the right time or place for something like that.
“So? What do you say?” Spencer prompted Lucille when she didn’t respond.
“What?” Lucille laughed awkwardly and pinched his thigh under the
table.
She batted her eyes at him and asked, “What do you think?”
She’d wanted him to break the tension, not say something inappropriate. But he’d said something earth–shattering when he opened his mouth instead. Did he think everyone was as shameless as
him?
Spencer held her hand and said while smiling, “Alright. I’ll warm the bed for you tonight too.”
Lucille forced the wave of embarrassment down and glared at him, but all he did was pour her some water like it was the most natural thing to do.
Bailey’s eyes were blinded by the PDA. She regretted sitting so close to them.

Ethan rested his chin on his hand and complained, “That’s enough. You should discuss these things in private. Are you trying to make all of us here jealous or something?”
After Spencer’s blatant attempt at flirting, the atmosphere was less
tense.
Bailey was someone who warmed up to strangers easily. Since she was also somewhat acquainted with them, she quickly made herself a part of the group. She had always been a cheerful and lively girl.
During their meal, Eunice stole glances at Lucille and Spencer, She envied Lucille.
Even a person like Spencer could be so gentle and caring. Eunice, on the other hand, couldn’t possibly wish for even a sliver of that from lan.
Besides that, she’d found out that Lucille and Spencer had already received their marriage certificate on her way up. They just hadn’t had their wedding ceremony.
Both of them had only started getting to know each other two weeks ago, but they already got along so well. Spencer looked at Lucille with so much love and affection, as if he were infatuated with her.
He probably wouldn’t break Lucille’s heart, but Eunice felt like warning Lucille. However, upon recalling her own circumstances, she felt like she didn’t have the right to warn Lucille.
A self–deprecating look flashed in her eyes. Her circumstances were different from Lucille’s.
After the meal, the men started discussing business. Lucille and Bailey were the CEO and deputy CEO of their company, respectively, so they didn’t replace the topic boring.
But everything sounded like gibberish to Eunice, who knew nothing

about business.
Seeing that Eunice was about to fall asleep from boredom, Bailey dragged Eunice to the other side of the room divider to chat.
After a while, Lucille joined them. She wasn’t very interested in the men’s discussion because she specialized in a different field.
“Didn’t everything sound like gibberish to the both of you?” Eunice asked because they’d looked like they’d been listening attentively.
Bailey clung to Eunice’s arm and chuckled. “Eunie, we haven’t told you what we do for work.”
Eunice blinked and asked, “What do you do for work?” She looked cute when she was confused.
“Lucy and I work at the same company, Star&Ciel Group. Have you heard of it before?” Bailey asked.
Eunice hummed thoughtfully. Finding the name familiar, she asked, “Is it the company behind Starbright Scents?”
“That’s right.” Bailey smiled and said, “Lucy’s the CEO of Star&Ciel Group, while I’m the person in charge of Luminosity Films, the film production company under Star&Ciel Group.”
Eunice was speechless. After being stunned for a few seconds, she said, “You’re amazing.”
