Chapter 217

Chapter 217

As soon as Sylvie lay down, the door was pushed open, and Blake walked in.

He was dressed in black, and his gaze was slightly cold and fierce when he looked at Patricia andSylvie. "What's your problem?"

Patricia smiled at him and said, "Blake, let's sit down and talk, shall we?"

Forcing herself to gather her courage, she stepped forward and pulled Blake to the side of the bed.Making her voice sound as sweet as possible, she said, "Blake, I only have 1.1 million with me. So, canI pay you 1.1 million first?"

Blake's face abruptly darkened when he heard Patricia's words. "That's not how we operate here."

Just when he was about to call someone to come in to deal with Patricia, as soon as he rejected hernegotiation, Patricia immediately pressed a needle out of her ring. She grabbed his neck and pressedthe needle against his neck.

"In that case, forgive me, Blake. You leave me no choice but to ask you to show us the way out."

The anger in Blake's eyes was heinous, for he didn't expect Patricia to turn out to be so powerful.

In fact, it was Blake's first time falling into the hands of a woman. Feeling ashamed, he struggled hardto break himself free.

Patricia warned, "Blake, you'd better stop moving. The poison on this needle is extremely deadly. Thisneedle has been soaked in the venom of 99 kinds of poisonous snakes, and it'll be difficult for you tolive once it pokes into your body."

His face turned even more gloomy when he heard Patricia's words. Sure enough, he believed her. Therefore, he stopped moving completely.

"Patricia, you…"

Blake was absolutely enraged, yet at the same time, he was also terrified of this needle.

Noticing this, Patricia curled the corners of her lips slightly into a smirk. I have no choice. Life has beenso unkind to me that I have been forced to the point where I naturally have to learn to protect myself.Unlike some, I have no powerful background, no family, and no one to rely on except the police whensomething like this happens. But it seems I can only depend on myself now since I can't even reach outand report it to the police.

"Sylvie…" Patricia gently called out to Sylvie.

Sylvie abruptly sat up upon hearing Patricia's voice. Then, she immediately got out of bed and clutchedPatricia's clothes.

Pursing her lips, she spoke bravely, "Tricia, I'm not scared."

Patricia glanced and smiled happily at Sylvie. "You're amazing!"

Holding Blake hostage, Patricia then walked out of the bedroom. When the people in the living room

saw this scene, they all reached for their guns.

They quickly aimed the muzzles of the guns at Patricia and Sylvie. When Sylvie saw this, a trace offear flashed across her big eyes, and her petite hands shook a little.

Nevertheless, she didn't cry in fright. Instead, she clutched Patricia's military coat tightly, fearing shewould be separated from Patricia.

"Boss…" one of Blake's subordinates called out.

Seeing that they were all raising their guns, Blake roared with a cold voice, "Put down your guns andprepare a vehicle! Quickly!"

Meanwhile, Lovetta was also stunned as she looked at the scene in front of her. At first, she thoughtthat Patricia was trying to deploy a honey trap tactic. She didn't expect that Patricia's real intention wasto actually use Blake to threaten them.

Regardless, she suddenly had a hint of admiration for Patricia. At least she's courageous enough to doit and even succeed, with so many people guarding her today. Not to mention, she has even defeatedthe mighty Blake. My, my, this woman really isn't as ordinary as she seems.

Thinking of that, Lovetta roared, "Didn't you hear what Blake said?! Put down the guns and prepare avehicle!"

After a while, someone called, saying that the car was already parked downstairs.

Patricia pushed Blake and instructed, "We'll go outside, and the rest of you stay inside."

Meanwhile, Sylvie kept clutching Patricia's clothes tightly. She followed Patricia closely and walked outof the sight of those strange men. After that, the door closed behind them with a clank.

"Tricia, are we safe now?" Sylvie asked.

Seeing that only this strange man followed them while everyone else was left in the house, Sylviethought she was safe. Since a child's mind was very innocent, Sylvie felt she wouldn't be fearfulanymore as long as she was safe.

Patricia glanced at the lock on the door. I believe I've given them time to prepare for an attack just now.

Therefore, she kicked Blake and ordered, "Lock the door for me."

In the meantime, he kept his eyes on the needle pressing against his neck. He was extremely fearful asthe needle would poke him if he wasn't careful enough. Blake could also feel that Patricia stretched alittle when he leaned his back. Frowning, he scolded, "Keep that damn needle away from me!"

The roar in Blake's voice frightened Sylvie so much that she nearly fell to the ground. Pouting her lips, she shouted, "Tricia, poke him! This strange man is a big meanie! He's too mean! He scares me!"
