"What exactly am 12 If I'm like you guys ?" I was freaking out because Ihad no clue what they meant. I looked at my dad and back at Arrow aslike seven different buff men came running in all at the same time.Arrow pulled me out-of-the-way.

"Alpha, there's a rogue running in and out off our borders," one of thetaller men said

" Secure the borders and don't let the rogue enter if it comes on packland circle it and I will be out there as fast as I can understand!” my dadsaid head held high

I could tell each one of these men respected my father. they all left asfast as they came, I had pretty much put the puzzle together, I had readenough werewolf books on the internet. I remembered hearing myparents as a child arguing about Luanne the Luna here being myfather's mate and there was nothing my father could do but leave mymother for his rightful mate. my dad would go see her almost everyweekend it would make my mother so angry sometimes she would sayits all my fault that my dad chose Luanne over her.

Arrow pulled me into his arms and spoke softly to me.

My father was growling at first I thought it was because Arrow wasembracing me but it wasn't there in the door frame held a huge blackalpha wolf they seemed to draw my attention. I pushed out of Arrow'sarms and walked normally over to the wolf in the door. That's sofucking cool & scary at the same time, but I felt drawn towards thewolf. I could hear Arrow growling and my father screaming to backaway that he was dangerous but I could stop getting closer. I got abouta foot away from the wolf and outstretched my hand and it was twoinches away from his nose and he took the last steps to push his noseto my hand.

I felt it. My heartbeat went crazy, This wolf seemed to have a bond withme. So strange!

Mate

The wolf jumped on top of me and all but sat on me not letting me upfrom the floor. My dad shifted and began to make his way over to us,The wolf on top of me began to growl a warning growl then gave me alick right across the face and continued to growl. My father laid downon the ground mere inches from us and just watched until we all werescreamed at by Luanne, What a Bitch!

"Hey! Come on you beasts! What have I told you about not shifting inthe house, it makes the house smell like a wet dog! * Luanne screamedand pointed fingers until she noticed to rogue on the floor

The few men that were here before pulled the wolf off me and pulledhim out into the field and began attacking him and this scent pure hotrage into my stomach making me furious, I had only got out of thedoor frame when I felt pain all over when I screamed in pain it cameout as a whimper, I looked down at my hand and noticed they werePAWS. Shit, that's new! I tried to move the paws but I didn't havecontrol over my self. The black wolf had a smaller wolf that was he wasshaking around, it was yelping in so much pain. I couldn't handle thesound anymore.

Make it stop, You're hurting him stop now!

Disregarding the wolf that he was beating on before his attentionturned on me and that was probably not a good thing. He suddenlyshifted and grabbed me by my scruff and pulled me back to the alphahouse. My dad was at the door he handed me a change of clothes andtold me to go change behind the trees. Somehow I managed the shiftback and I put on the Black jogging pants and the grey hoodie that wasgiven to me and walked up to the house where my mate, so the voicein my head had said, had sat the entire time waiting for me, now backin wolf form again, when he saw me he came running at me and lickedmy face and jumped around like a new puppy. my dad saw us andcame walking up to us. he pulled me away from him and looked at himover and over.

"Are you two mates? Quinn?"

"What the hell is a mate? I keep hearing it over and over!" I said lookingat my father dumbfounded.

"Shift, I will give you clothes. "

I watched as my "mate" shifted faster than me, He was naked inseconds. My dad handed him shorts and he changed into them, I stoodthe starring I was amazed at how handsome he was! He was fuckingsexy.
