"Doctor Simons, Something is wrong with my mate!"

Kane set me on the bed and the doctor was quick to take blood and doall the tests, finally, he asked.

"When was the last time you guys had sexual intercourse?”

"A few days ago give or take.”

The doctor tinkered around for a while before he slipped gloves on andasked me to remove my bottoms and expose my rear, so he couldcheck something. Kane was quick to not be okay with what the doctorwas doing, the doctor took him and they went and spoke outside theoffice. When they came back inside Kane was more willing to let thedoctor do his job. I felt the doctors gloved hand touch my butt holeand I growled out in pain. I felt him stick something inside and thenpull it out. The scent of old copper filled my nose. Blood. Panic settledin my stomach and before I got a chance to completely freak out thedoctor spoke.

"You're having a very early on miscarriage and they can be quiet painfulfor a few days. I'm going to give you a few medications, on to help thepain and two to help with the miscarriage.”

"A miscarriage but how! I'm a male!"

"Some male werewolves have the ability to carry children, A heat cycleis usually the first sign you can carry pups, but by how young you are,I'm going to say you never had a heat cycle and you caught at thebeginning of your first."

"Oh. Well then."

Shock set in. I could have kids. Also by where his finger went, I'massuming that's where they will come out. Ouch.

"No sex for over a week and use condoms until you are fully ready for achild, Allow a few heat cycles before you try again, It will help yourwomb be ready properly, should you not follow instructions and getpregnant again, come as soon as you think you might be.”

After we left the doctors it felt like I was walking with a stick up my ass.It really was uncomfortable as well. He gave Kane some pads for myunderwear that would soak up the blood that would flow out as mybody got rid of the dead baby. I smelt like death and it was horrible.Kane tried his best not to wrinkle his nose around me, but even I knew Ismelt nasty.

"Let me run you a bath.”

"Please!"

"You will smell like that for a few days, but a bath will help with boththe pain and that smell.”

"I'm willing to do anything, I can smell myself!" I said whining loudly.Kane ran the bathwater and added as many different kinds of heavysmelling soaps as he could and finally all we could smell was god awfulflowers, but they were so much better than the dead blood smell. I stillfound it so weird that I had gotten pregnant and I was also given someladies baby, and if I turned it down I would be insulting the higherpower called the mood goddess. Kane had explained to me on the rideto his place that Forest was a gift from her and if I turned him down shewould think I was insulting her and then usually bad things happened.The thought of even letting him out of sight for a few hours drove meinto a panic that I didn't enjoy feeling at all. Kane drained the bathwhen I got out and he gave me a sniff. The dead smell was still therebut now it was semi-drowned in the smell of wildflowers.

"Let's go, I'll give you a back rub to help with some of that pain.”

That sounded heavenly.
