You Hit My Heart -
Chapter 81
"Happy breakup and good luck.”
"You can replace someone better."
Charlotte sat down on the sofa in the box, her heart so resentful that itwas going crazy.
What happened when she didn't go to the project team just for a week? She felt quite out of place among her colleagues?
It was clear that Juanita was working with her as a team and was incharge of promotion. However, she was close to Joyce.
Since she was now the daughter of a famous family, shouldn't all thespotlights belong to her?
Unexpectedly, Joyce was getting more and more dazzling.
It's simply blinding.
Oh.
Juanita and her colleague sang the song "Happy Breakup" as if it wasdeliberately sung to her because of her arrival.
Was that sarcasm meant for her?
Implying that she should let go of Luther?
Charlotte's delicate face, and the smile she had been trying to maintain, gradually stiffened and her hands clenched tightly.
The humiliation she has received will be doubled back in the future!Lauren saw Charlotte finally coming.
She hurriedly sat next to Charlotte and put her hand on Charlotte'sknee, comforting.
Right now, she could only bet on Charlotte. Even if there was no placefor her in the R&S Group in the future, the Heath family could still giveher a way out.
Thinking of this, Lauren was in a much better mood.
"Are you okay?" Lauren said with concern.
Charlotte sighed, "How much better can it get.” The look carried atouch of sorrow.
“I really want to teach Joyce a good lesson for you. Look at her foolingaround like that." Lauren fished out a pill from her pocket and secretlyshowed it to Charlotte. She came up to Charlotte's ear and whispered,"This pill is quite powerful. Let's make Joyce's drink a little juicier.”Charlotte glanced at that pink, soy-sized pill.
With Lauren's suggestive look, she immediately understood whatmedicine it was.
“No. I can't do that!" Charlotte feigned fear and pushed Lauren's handaway, "After all, I grew up with Joyce. Even if she did such a thing tome, I can't do this."
"Hey, you're just too kind." Lauren bristled.
She wanted to teach Joyce a good lesson on behalf of Charlotte tomake her feel better, but she did not expect Charlotte did not have theguts. What a pity.
In fact, Charlotte disdained in her heart and only thought that Laurenwas too stupid.
What's the point of drugging Joyce alone?
Waiting for Joyce to go back to the Warner family and Joyce and Luthercould do that kind of things? It's stupid!
However, since Lauren was so foolish, it was just right to make use ofher a bit.
In the box, everyone sang and drank champagne, and the lively scenecontinued.
Charlotte poured champagne for Lauren a few times.
Lauren drank too much and gradually got drunk.
After a while.
Lauren swayed and stood up, "I'm going to the bathroom."
"Be careful.” Charlotte saw that she was about to fall and rushedforward to help her, "Do you need me to walk you to the bathroom, canyou do it alone?"
That said, when she was away, Charlotte secretly took the pills fromLauren's pocket and, subsequently, put them in her own handbag.“I'm fine.” Lauren waved her hands drunkenly and staggered out of thebox.
She propped herself up against the wall. After she left the bathroom, she washed her face to fresh up a little.
She subconsciously took out her pocket for her lipstick, but found thatthe pink pills just now were gone.
Where's the medicine? Where's the medicine?
Lauren was shocked and almost sobered up.
Hell, she lost the medicine.
She searched around the bathroom and carefully searched along theway she came, but there was nothing to be found.
Lucky for Joyce.
She would have taught Joyce a good lesson.
Now, the medicine was lost.
