Meanwhile, from the other part of the Philippines.

Franco woke up suddenly when he realized that he's not alone in his bed.

He was shocked when he recognized the woman who's clinging to his waist.

"Jean, what the hell! Anong ibig sabihin nito? (What is the meaning of this?)" He asked in horror; he's very angry.

Jean woke up because of his loud, angry tone.

"Anong, anong ibig mong sabihin Franco, na hindi mo matandaan ang nangyari sa atin kagabi? (What do you mean, Franco, that you don't remember what happened to us last night?" Jean tried to control herself not to cry. "Wag kang mag alala walang makakaalam sa nangyari. (Don't worry, no one will know what happened.)" But this time she couldn't hold the tears that run freely down her face.

She gathered all her things that were scattered on the floor and wore them back. She looked at Franco and said

"Walang nangyari, nothing happened," she said in her shaky voice. Full of rage. And she stormed out of his room.

Franco tweaked his hair. He's been unfaithful to Lorianne. It's only been three months since she's gone, and here he is, sleeping with Lorianne's best friend. What kind of man he is?

He quickly got up and went to take a shower. He got changed; he needs to get a way from here right now. He has no face to see Jean. He's a coward, he thought, but he's not ready to face her yet. He took advantage of her. The woman became very close to him since they were both mourning Lorraine's death.

After he changed his clothes, he got ready to go to the airport. He cannot stay there any longer.

He knew that there's something happening between him and Jean, but he was too cowardly too accept it. That passion they shared that night was undeniable.

If only he hadn't invited Jean to accompany him and pour her some wine. What happened between them should have been avoided.

While he is in the taxi going to the airport, he remembers the woman's face.

He could see the pain, the hurt, and the anger in Jean's eyes when he mocked her this morning.

From the bottom of his heart, he petied the woman. She doesn't deserve his cold treatment from him after he had lusted her body.

The woman never even stopped him when he started undressing her. She surrendered her body to him without any hesitation, without complaining.

Jean, on the other hand, went to the cemetery, where Lorianne's grave is situated.

"I'm sorry Yane, alam ko hindi tama ang ginawa ko. Nag paalipin ako sa damdamin ko. Yane, mahal ko si Franco pero ikaw ang mahal nya. Ngayong wala ka na ikaw pa rin ang mahal

nya. (I'm sorry Yane, I know that what I did was wrong. I let my feeling towards him controlled me. I love him but he loves you. And now that you're gone, you're still the one who he loves.)" She cried to her friend.

"Wag kang mag alala, kakalimutan ko ang nangyari sa amin. Naging marupok ako. Hindi ko ipagsiksikan ang sarili ko sa kanya. Mamimiss kita. Sana kung hindi ka nawala hindi nagalit sa akin si Franco. Hindi sana nangyari

ito. (Don't worry what happened to us. I'll forget what happened to us. I've been weak. I will force myself to him. I'll miss you. If only you didn't left, Franco might not angry to me. This might not happen.)" She said sadly. She wiped her tears and stood up. "Paalam Yane, lalayo muna ako sa lugar na ito (Goodbye Yane, I'll be going away from this place.)" she said in a low voice, almost a whispher.

She poured out her feelings in front of Lorraine's grave. The cry, the fear, the rage-it's tearing her apart.

Even if she screamed, nothing could soothe that pain.

She made her decision. Once and for all.

She will go somewhere where she can forget all of this mess. She and Lorianne are both orphans. That's why only the two of them live in their house. But now that Lorianne is gone, she can't live there alone.

She slowly walks home from the cemetery. It's not that far. She doesn't want to ride any vehicle because she knows that her face is absolutely not a good thing to see. She was crying since she walked out of Franco's home. She only hides her face with her umbrella so that no one will notice her.

She quickly chose some of her things when she arrived home. She packed just enough for a week. Maybe she will replace a job in one week in Manila.

After she carefully chose the things to bring, she put them in her backpack and carried it. She looked around at the entire place. And she couldn't hold her tears from falling.

This is the place where she and Lorraine live like sisters. They never had any arguments. Sometimes there's a little misundersatnding, but they never let the sun go down to fix their misunderstanding. They support each other's interests. For them, it's the two of them against the world.

When Lorraine has a boyfriend, she's very happy because they're about to add to their family.

She wipes her tears one last time and finally walks out the door. She locked the door so that no one would get inside. Maybe one day she will come back, but she doesn't know yet when.

She took out the paper on which she wrote down the address of her distant relative in Manila.

She asks them if she could stay with them while she's looking for a job.

She still has a little savings, so it will be enough while she's replaceing a new job
