Lorianne's POV

She managed to get back to her room without Franco's shadow.

Quickly opened the door and locked it.

She doesn't want to hear lies anymore.

She checked his phone. There are many missed calls from Leandro.

She called him back, but he didn't answer. She tried again, but still no answer.

She sent him a message instead.

"Hi, sorry if I didn't answer your call. I left my phone in a room."

By the way, I was supposed to be back there, but I didn't make it to the afternoon flight. So I booked for tomorrow morning. See you!"

After sending messages, she washed herself and changed her clothes.

She brought a few thin materials, so they were not bulky. The only thick one is her jacket. In case it's cold.

After she finished her bedtime routine, she lay on the bed. She doesn't want to go out of her room anymore; otherwise, she will bump into Franco once again.

She waited for a reply from Leandro, but he didn't reply. By this time, when she's around, if he is not on his laptop checking emails, he is watching movies with her. He never left his phone either, because sometimes important clients called during that time.

Where did he go then?

If only she knew Rudy's and Clara's phone numbers, but she never asked them. She had a chance to ask Rudy yesterday, but she didn't do it.

It's already eight, so instead of waiting for his reply, she decided to go to sleep. She doesn't want to be late tomorrow.

She fell asleep immediately.

At around four in the morning, her body clock woke her up.

She checked her phone.

No messages from Leandro.

Is there anything that happened at the villa?

She really needs to get there.

She quickly took a quick bath and brushed her teeth.

Luckily, there's a clean towel in the bathroom.

She doesn't need to use her small towel.

It's like a mini hotel that will make their clients comfortable.

After changing her clothes, she carefully folded the dirty clothes and put them inside the paper bag.

She checked if all her things were in her bags.

Shen then takes a hundred pesos and places them on top of the table as a thank you for the good service and the beautiful place she laid her tired body on. She will go down now to replace some coffee.

Her flight is at five am, and it's only four thirty.

Upon entering the canteen where she had dinner last night, she saw a familiar body structure.

So instead of entering the place, she turned around and went directly to the airport. She will replace some coffee there.

He wished that he hadn't noticed her.

She was puzzled about why the hell that man was still in the vicinity. Did he see her last night when she headed upstairs?

It feels creepy.

She must be very careful not to let him see her.

Finally, she arrived at the entrance; she showed her ticket, and they let her in.

She went straight to the counter to get her boarding pass.

After she got her boarding pass, she checked the time on her phone. It's already quarter to five.

She doesn't have a chance to have a coffee.

Instead of replaceing some coffee, she chose to sit in the waiting area, and then she heard the announcement that the flight to her destination was calling for passengers. That's her flight.

She went to the gate to present her boarding pass.

She prayed a simple thank you, Lord, when she entered the plane.

And breathe out as a sign of relief.

She checked her seat for her boarding pass.

When she saw it, she sat down.

There's no one seated in seat E and seat F yet.

Maybe they are late.

At exactly five o'clock, the pilot announces that they are now closing the aircraft door. That means she will be alone in her row. That's better.

In less than four hours, the plane finally landed.

She gathered her belongings under her chair.

When the pilot announces that they are now ready to disembark, she stands up.

She doesn't want to stay there any longer.

She walked as fast as she could to get out of the airport.

When finally outside, she replaces a taxi that will take her to the villa.

She hailed a taxi that approached.

A taxi stops in front of her. She opened the door when she heard a familiar voice. "Yane, wait!"

What is he doing here? she thought.

Instead of waiting, she closed the door and asked the driver to drive fast.

"Pakibilisan po, Kuya," she told the driver.

"Saan po tayo, Maam?" the driver asked her.

She gave him the destination.

After more than an hour, she was already in the beach villa.

She called out his name; there was no response.

"Leandro! I'm back. Are you here? Leandro!" She called him again.

She runs upstairs, but he's not in there.

Maybe he was at the beach.

But he bumped into Rudy.

"Lizzy, nagbalik ka? (Lizzy, you're back?" he asked, surprised.

"Nasaan si Leandro, Rudy? Gusto ko siyang kausapin. (Where's Leandro, Rudy? I need to talk to him.)"

She hadn't finished talking yet when Rudy grabbed her wrist and took her to the car; he drove her to Leandro's private airport. She's wondering, Where are they going?

She asked him where Leandro was, but instead of answering her question, he just grabbed her to take her somewhere---

As they came closer, she could see the mini airport.

Now she understands why Rudy took her there.

Leandro must be there.

The moment the car came to a halt, she got out of the car and ran in front of the runway where the private plane was parking. Leandro must have positioned it on the runway already.

She could see the heatwave from where she was standing.

The engine of the aircraft is on. Ready to fly anytime.

She doesn't know if he can see her.

She waved her hands, hoping that he would notice her.

She jumps and waves at the same time.

It was very hot; the sun's rays pierced her skin, but she didn't care.

She wants to see him.

She realizes that she only needs this man
