Chapter 101
Killian’s POV
I felt that someone had squeezed my heart so badly that it had stopped beating. Tears were now rolling down on my cheeks like a fall. Eighteen years…. Eighteen long years that I had waited for this moment. For eighteen. long years I waited for the moment when I would be able to see my mother again. I had no memories of her because I was so small when she disappeared.
“We don’t have time for giving in our emotions, Killian. We need to get out of here,” Nelson said in a hurried tone while walking towards me. He had a serious expression on his face, and also worry. “Is…. Is she alive?” I asked him in a choked tone, and he glared hard at me while grabbing my arm.
“Of course, she is alive, stupid brat. Now let’s take her out of this sh*t hole,” he scolded me and dragged me towards the bed where my mother was still sleeping in a straight posture. To be honest, I was scared more than happy. I was scared that I would touch her and she would disappear again. I was scared that it was just a dream, and I would wake up as soon as I touch her.
“Hurry up, kiddo,” Nelson urged me once again while going towards my mother, leaving my arm when we reached the bed. The plan was that I would. carry her, and he and Thomas would shield us. Now, I was so scared to touch. her. Nelson had checked for any kind of spell around her already and it was a relief that Marcus didn’t take help from any witch.
“You carry her, Dad,” I said to Nelson and he looked at me in confusion. Crystal was really the split copy of our mother. My mother could pass as her elder sister. It seemed that our mother had stopped aging eighteen years ago. “Killian…. Gather yourself… We have no time for argument,” Nelson yelled at me while shaking me angrily.
I closed my eyes and tried to control my emotions. “We don’t have much time, Killian. Let’s take our mother back. She needs us. We… We can’t just let our emotions take the best out of us,” Blake urged in a hurried but choked
tone.
I opened my eyes and wiped my tears while taking deep breaths. “Let’s go.. I am carrying her,” I said to Nelson and walked towards my mother. I pulled her up in my embrace in bridal style and raised my brows in confusion when I didn’t feel any weight of her.

Nelson immediately covered her b*dy with the sheet that he brought with him while cursing Marcus with hatred. “Bastard,” I cursed him angrily too when I saw her hands. “Let’s go,” Nelson said to me angrily and I moved towards the bedroom door. We were about to reach the door when suddenly the door closed..
“Thomas,” Nelson yelled in panic while running towards the door. I stopped in my tracks and looked around while holding my mother tightly in my

embrace. Blake was on alert but we didn’t
“Blake,” I called for my wolf. “Already on it,” he answered me in a serious tone. I was now standing near the door. I walked towards the near wall from where I could see the whole room. “Vampires… they are coming from the left of the room,” Blake told me, and I smirked. They thought that they could trap us here?
Nelson also came near to me and stood up in front of us protectively. “It’s time to use our weapon, Dad,” I said to him in a cold tone, and the next second, he had two guns in his hands. We had discussed all the possibilities and scenarios that we could face here, and this situation was one of them. I looked down at my mother.
“You need to wake up now, Mom, I need you….. Crystal…. Your daughter….. My sister… she needs you,” I whispered to her. “No….. don’t wake her up,” Blake suddenly yelled in panic, making me baffled in the process. At the same time, I looked up and saw five vampires appearing from the left side of the room from a pillar. It was a secret door.
They snarled as soon as they came out, and Nelson started shooting them. without any hesitation. They thought that they would take us off guard, but the situation was completely opposite. We took them off guard. The first vampire who got shot screamed at the top of his lungs before falling on the floor like a broke log.
The rest of the vampires looked at him dumbfounded and started running in different directions. It was when an explosion destroyed the door. As I said, we came prepare for any circumstances. Thomas with a few warriors entered the room. Nelson continued shooting at the vampires. Thomas and the warriors did the same thing while standing at the door, surrounded the vampires inside the room.

“Destroy that pillar,” Nelson commanded while signaling towards the pillar from where the vampires appeared in front of us. Thomas threw a bomb towards that pillar and I immediately squatted down, shielding my mother b*dy with mine. The warriors surrounded me immediately, shielding both of

The explosion shook the whole room badly. The room was now filled with dust, screams of the vampires, and so many other things. “Let’s go,” Nelson said to me and I stood up once again. We both almost ran towards the door with Thomas and other warriors on our tail. I sighed while jerking my head. lightly when we saw a few more vampires approaching us. Everyone was here except Marcus.
“William… we need to get out now,” I mind–linked William while running towards the exit of the palace. “The car is already in the lobby. Luther with a few hybrid warriors is waiting for you there,” he answered me immediately, but I raised my brows when I felt a little stiffness in his tone.
