Jane Smith looked up at Rachel Grey in shock.

Rachel’s expression was cold, and the corners of her lips curled up with a hint of ruthlessness.

Jane’s heart skipped a beat, and she subconsciously retreated. She grabbed Mrs. Smith’s arm tightlyand stammered, “Ra, Rachel Grey, what are you trying to do? You are in the presence of the Smithfamily!”

“It’s precisely because of that that Miss Smith has to keep her word.” Rachel looked at her with a faintsmile. “If you go back on your word, I’m afraid the Smith family will be seen as dishonest people in theeyes of outsiders onward.”

Jane’s cold voice was both powerful and intimidating.
