"That's because you're such a good teacher," Nina replied simply, ending the call.

After a quick wash and breakfast, she took Orion and Gemma to the hospital. When they arrived, they found Micah deep in conversation with Pharaoh, seeking his advice.

The moment Nina walked in, Freya rushed over, saying, "Let me hold Gemma!"

Nina checked in on Pharaoh's condition, then shared a glance with Micah. He understood immediately, and together they slipped into a side room.

Once the door closed, Nina updated him on the mission. "Nash and I are flying out today to take down the Shadow organization. It's a multinational crime ring involving children, with deep, devastating impacts."

Children are the future of a nation. Kids like Hope, if raised by their biological parents or placed in foster care, would at least have a chance at a normal life. But with that organization, she was being forced into terrible things at such a young age. Who knew what kind of person she would become as she grew up.

"It's unbelievable that something like this could be happening in Yaren," Micah replied, fists clenched tightly and jaw set in anger. "It's unforgivable."

He felt a pang of empathy for Gemma, so young yet already having endured so much, and his heart ached for the children of Yaren, who deserved so much better.

They were real, living children, not some disposable resources for that organization's twisted purposes!

"Nina, you don't have to be formal with me. Whatever you need, I'm here to help. I'll take care of the kids," Micah said firmly. He shared her conviction that this organization had to be uprooted, whatever the cost.

Nina nodded, "Thank you, Micah. Nash's already downstairs waiting. Our flight leaves in an hour, so we have to head out."

Micah accompanied her to the entrance. Pharaoh, though reluctant to see her go so soon, understood Nina had obligations she couldn't ignore, and with Micah, Freya, Orion, and Gemma around, he found peace in their company.

Far away in Yaren's vast desert, barren and desolate, lay the Shadow organization's hidden base. In the outermost circle of cages, filled with children, sat Hope.

A small bowl lay in front of her,

completely dry, not a drop of water left, let alone food. Hungry and thirsty, she stretched her hand out

through the bars, hoping fora bit of

something to eat.

In that moment, she longed for the days she had spent at Nina's home, where there was always plenty of food, a warm bed, and her big brother to play with.

If only she could have stayed there forever.

A man in a suit and mask strode over, his voice dripping with disdain. "Pathetic! Couldn't even poison a toddler. What good are you?"

With that, he swung his foot, striking Hope's arm with brutal force. Pain shot through her, and she pulled her arm back, whimpering and begging, "Please, just a little food..."

"Sell her off," he muttered dismissively, sealing her fate with a cold-hearted command.
