FEW HOURS EARLIER

.

"Your ride is ready for school prince Asher." Damien alerted Asher as soon as he opened the front door to usher him in. It has been exactly six days since they made their way to the human world after loosing Amery and they had tried their best to fit in while they did all they could to replace her. Turns out that the forest where Amery had died was a gateway between both worlds and after contemplating for a while, they decided to cross over and go in search of her. "Thank you Damien. You've been a really great help ever since we got here." Asher applauded him gratefully. "I don't even want to imagine what would have become of us if you weren't here to guide us."

"It is my duty as your loyal servant and I'll always try my very best to help you for as long as I am alive." He bowed his head curtly before handing a file over to Asher who took it meticulously. "What's this?" He asked curiously.

"Everything that you would need for school. I've forged a new document to match your identity for as long as you three would be present here. Your transcripts for school as well as other important documents that has your informations are fully arranged in that file."

"I've also spoken to the principal and I've let her know that my nephew's would be attending her school. I'm sorry that I have to address you as that but that's the only way to make sure that you all blend in without suspicion." He explained and Asher nodded his head in understanding. He knew that werewolves were not supposed to co-exist amongst humans. It was a lifelong tradition but they had no choice but to break it.

"The car parked outside is yours as well as your brothers and so is this mansion. I've arranged for a driver to serve you diligently and take you wherever you need to go and whenever. The maid in charge of cleaning would be coming over for clean up during the weekends." Asher nodded once. "I see. Does the driver-"

"Of course he does prince Asher, he is also one of our kind. I cannot bring a mere human to serve you knowing fully well the consequences." Damien voiced out, abating his fears and worries.

"I really hope that you replace what you're looking for prince Asher. I'll be on my way now." And with that, he walked away. Asher glanced at the documents one last time before stepping back into the mansion and slamming the door behind him. Placing the file on the table in the living room, he found his way back to the kitchen where he met Quincy making breakfast with nothing but his briefs.

"Was that Damien?" He questioned when he heard Asher step into the kitchen.

"The one and only." Asher picked up a glass of water and drowned the contents in one gulp. "I cannot believe that I'm stuck in this place."

Quincy chuckled "You should blame your brother for that. If he hadn't taken matters into his own claws, we probably would've been back home with one of us as Amery's mate but no, he wanted to play the big bad and angry wolf. The annoying prick." He cussed loudly

Asher rolled his eyes at Quincy's statement. He didn't want to agree with him but for once, he was right about that. If Levi hadn't driven that dagger into Amery's body, then they wouldn't be here right now.

When they had found out that Amery was dead and gone from their world, they lost connection with her wolf and not only that but Levi's wolf went dead inside him. It was as if it never existed in the first place. He knew for a fact that Levi hasn't been himself ever since it happened. He wasn't used to being wolfless and had always wanted to be powerful but for some reason, he lost touch with himself and that was the reason why they ended up here.

"Asher?" Quincy waved his hands across his face and he jolted back to reality. "Don't you try to zone out on me dude. I've already lost one of you to the darkness and I'm not prepared to loose you too."

"I'm just worried." Asher sighed deeply.

"About?" Quincy cut through his steak and placed it in his mouth to chew.

"About Amery." He breathed out tiredly. "What if we never replace her? What if she's lost forever? What if she's dead and her body didn't end up here as we had hoped? There's a whole lot of impossibilities that I can't stop thinking about."

Quincy dropped his knife and it made a clattering sound on his plate. "Amery died in our world and her body disappeared. We only have two realms so I'm pretty sure that since she didn't end up there, then she's here. Stop being such a cry baby and besides, your wolf is still prowling inside you so it only means that she must be alive, somehow." He resumed eating without a care in the world while Asher watched him munch on his food.

They stopped talking when they heard preceding footsteps approaching the kitchen area.

Levi walked in and made his way to fridge, ignoring their presence.

"Damien stopped by." Asher alerted him but he only uncapped the bottle and took a sip from it. He was shirtless and the only clothing he had on his body was his sweatpants. His forehead dripped with sweat which indicated that he had been using the thread-mill all morning.

"He dropped by some papers so get ready. We'll be leaving for school in an hours time." He informed him but he didn't respond.

"You're not going to say anything?" Asher primped and Quincy looked between his two brothers who seemed like they were about to get on it for the third time that morning.

"And what do you want me to say?" He groaned in annoyance. The veins on his neck suddenly visible. "It's not like I have a choice in the first place when you've already put your plans into motion Asher"

"It's funny how you make it seem as if this was my fault. You killed her and we're all in this mess because of your mistake and stupidity. Your wolf leaving, isn't enough punishment for an animal like you." Asher yelled at him and Quincy chewed on his food quietly as he watched the exchange.

Levi scoffed. "Why? Just admit that you were never good enough for her and she never would've accepted you in the first place. You're just compensating your anger for loosing her to me".

Asher sprang from his chair and punched him on his face. Levi smiled through his bloodied mouth and that's when Quincy intervened.

"As much as I'd like to see you shed more blood and kill yourselves, this isn't the time to do so." He admonished them. "We still have to figure this out somehow and since the opportunity has presented itself, I think it's better for you all to pretend to behave and like each other for the meantime. You can go back to killing yourselves later. I don't mind being an only child."

They glared at him.

"Now that's the pair of annoying siblings I grew up with." He walked past their center. "Go get ready for school. I heard that they have a lot of sexy girls and I can't wait to explore my options." And with that, he disappeared to his bedroom.

"You better start offering prayers and sacrifices Levi because if we don't replace Amery, I'd offer your body to the goddess as one." Asher threatened before walking away.

Levi angrily threw the bottle across the kitchen and it made a loud bang when it hit the wall and crashed into the set of cutleries. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to go home but he couldn't. His wolf was trapped inside him and as if it wasn't enough, he was now a mere vulnerable being that had no choice but to live here.

Frustrated, he made his way back to his room and stripped naked before stepping into the bathtub. He scrubbed himself clean as the water cascaded down his naked body.

When he was finished, he put on his clothes and made his way outside to join his brothers who were already outside, waiting for him.

"You look like a hot shot celebrity." Quincy drawled amusingly when he walked up to them. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think that you were a human boy. Technically you're a human so it still counts."

Levi threw daggers at him with his eyes and he was forced to remain quiet.

"Are you ready to go alpha princes?" The man who was their supposed driver asked them as he opened up the door for them.

"Let's stick with our initial names for now." Asher corrected him. "We don't want to draw any attention to ourselves, especially now that one of us is already useless." He mocked with a straight face before getting into the vehicle that was parked in front of them.
