Curse For Alpha: Betrayed Luna -
Chapter 17
That thought was still going on until he arrived home and got off the bus. As always his mother would greet him and smile broadly at him, making Alfan run up to the woman he had seen since he first opened his eyes. "What did Mommy's son learn today?"
Yes, only his mother greeted him like that while his father was nowhere to be seen. Alfan was curious but he tried to shut off his thoughts and not ask for fear that his question would upset his mother. His mother had tried to be a great woman so that he could grow and develop properly.
"Mommy..."
Audrey, who was serving her food, turned around and smiled. "Why, sweetheart?"
Alfan was quiet for a while, his mother's call and question made him feel quite nervous. Alfan was worried that if he asked her it would only show his mother's sadness, he didn't want to open the wounds his mother was feeling. "Nothing, I just remembered that I have some homework to do."
Audrey raised her eyebrows. "Homework?" she asked, to which Alfan nodded slowly.
"I'll study some more after this, Mom."
"Oh, study. You don't have to do homework or anything. Oh yeah, on Sunday we'll take a walk to the town square, there's usually a lot of snacks there. So you could say we'll relax there," said her, making Alfan nod.
He didn't make another sound and just looked at his mother who was already walking towards the sink. Alfan sighed, eating his food without asking too many questions because he knew that she wouldn't like him asking too many questions about his father.
All this time, his father wasn't around, and his mother didn't talk about him either. He didn't want to make his mother sad if he suddenly asked. Continuing to eat without asking many questions, Alfan stayed in his place and just told her about how his day at school went without mentioning what offended him earlier.

Audrey put in some dry ingredients, then lifted the ingredients out of the glass until the color of the water in the glass turned yellowish. After that, Audrey put in some milk powder, before she walked over to Alfan who was watching television.
"Drink some milk first, so you'll be healthy."
Alfan nodded, accepted the milk and looked at Audrey who was sitting next to him.
"Don't sleep too long, it's nine o'clock at night."
Alfan nodded and looked at his mother for a moment. "I won't sleep for long, I'm already sleepy. Mommy sometimes likes to sleep for a long time, doesn't she? Does Mommy work very hard?" he asked, making Audrey smile softly. "No, Mommy's just killing time before bed. Mommy's used to sleeping long, honey, you don't have to worry."
Alfan sighed and nodded, not saying anything more because there was no conversation. Audrey also sensed that her son was being too immature, talking about things that weren't really what he should be talking about. It was just that she couldn't help that he was more mature than his friends.
Only Audrey knew about it, she couldn't talk about it carelessly or her son would understand what she had been hiding for months. Audrey did many things to make her age really look like a five-year-old. "Mommy I'm going to bed."
Audrey woke up and looked at her son's newly vocalized face. She nodded, then smiled and gently rubbed Alfan's head.
"Go to sleep, Mommy will wake you up for school tomorrow and there will be delicious food for you."
Alfan smiled and looked at his mother's face for a moment. But afterward, he walked into the room and saw his mother sitting alone on the sofa. He was curious about what exactly had happened that he never saw his father. Even so, he knew that this was not the time to ask because he felt that his mother would not answer his words.
Audrey sighed and stared at the television screen in front of her. She knew that she felt tired, her body was a bit weak and she was still waiting for the time when she could tell Aldrick to ask for some medicinal ingredients to restore some of her energy.
"If I ask him later he will seize the opportunity or not, huh? I can't hold back any longer if it's like this, my son is still very young and I can't just let him go. I can't leave her alone because she still needs my guidance and help." Audrey sighed and was silent for a moment. "But, if she asked me to become Luna again and live with her just because I asked for some materials, would I just agree? The important thing is that I live well until the right time. Alfan has to live until he's an adult and can control himself."

Pausing to think, Audrey got up shortly after and walked towards the room. She was tired, she didn't know when she would be able to finish all this business. Audrey still wanted to live a long time but she knew that she couldn't force herself especially since there was a big wound on her body from giving birth to Alfan and saving Audrey's clan using all her abilities.
"Hah... I'd better get some rest. Everything that will happen will be discussed tomorrow, I don't need to exert myself too much while right now I can still do something. I might still be able to look into some traditional medicine shops, there might be some ingredients I need. Tomorrow after Alfan leaves, I'd better go too."

That morning, Aldrick arrived back at Audrey's house but there was no one there. He also didn't know where Audrey had gone, but since her equipment and even her belongings were still here so he knew that Audrey hadn't moved out. "Let's just say that maybe she went out."
Aldrick sat on the sofa, closed his eyes and seemed to be meditating. He felt calmer here like there was an additional power that could make him feel better. He knew that she was quite busy, so now he could only wait for her arrival. This place wasn't bad either, he felt calm and his energy seemed to increase. This woman was an expert in medicinal matters, so she knew that her house must also have some spiritual energy that was beneficial for health and strength. Audrey was a strong Luna, she knew that there was not a single weak Luna in this world as they must have abilities that others did not have. So was Audrey who could even penetrate the human world and live here and was very relaxed. "Where did she go?"
After a few hours of Aldrick being there, he realized that she hadn't returned and that made him open his eyes. He looked right and left, replaceing no one and that made him get up from his seat.
Walking back and forth in the house, he checked a few things there and found nothing of interest. There was nothing of value other than the jewelry she was given, Audrey only wore a few pieces. "From this it can be seen that she still hates me."
Aldrick sighed, walked again in the other direction and arrived at the kitchen. There wasn't any food there but he knew that his son would be home soon. He didn't know what he could cook either, which made him sigh and look at his face in the wall mirror. This house wasn't so bad, it could be said that this was a standard house for someone who lived without many family members. Whether Audrey rented or bought this house, she didn't know. It was just that she intended to do something.

Audrey stepped unenthusiastically into the yard of her house. She failed to replace the medicinal materials she needed, they were not available here because they were rare medicinal materials. "When did you come?"
Audrey was surprised to replace Aldrick in her house. Earlier when she left she had not found the man's aura around here, how could Aldrick see her now.
"I just came," Aldrick said casually then looked at her closely. "Wrong, actually it's been since this morning just because you weren't around so I deliberately came and stayed in this house to wait for you. Alfan's not back yet, is he still at school?"
Audrey sighed, put down her bag and looked at Aldrick. "His school added some extra classes for them so he's going to be home longer so I was able to go out today. I just went somewhere to look for some items but couldn't replace them. Those items are in your clan, in this human world I didn't replace them at all," she said with a tired face and sat down on the chair.
Aldrick raised his eyebrows. "How? What items do you need?"
Audrey looked at him and sighed. "Some items and ingredients to make medicine, I need them because I need to take them. Can you get them for me?" Audrey asked with a doubtful face.
"Why don't you come yourself? I didn't kick you out of there so you can come and go as you please. Why are you having trouble yourself?" asked Aldrick with an astonished face. "Don't you want to go back to the place where you were born?" "I don't have time," said Audrey with a tired face. "Going there would take a lot of time at least. I need the medicine badly or right now and if I go there your legalization will prevent Alfan from going to school. That's not the right thing." Aldrick was silent in the end. This woman was right, if he went to the clan it would only waste time and make it difficult for their son to go to school.
"You can note down whatever you need." Aldrick said with a gentle smile. "I'll get them when I get home and bring them here when I come. You need a servant, I'll send you an omega to serve you and Alfan here. There is one female omega who is quite adaptable to new environments, I will ask her to come along in the future."
Audrey was silent for a moment before she finally sighed. "No, I feel a bit traumatized."
"Audrey..." Aldrick looked at her with an expectant gaze. "I've changed, no longer the same as before. You don't have to worry... I swear on my blood, I will no longer betray you."
