Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 448
Scarlett was nervous under his gaze. She looked up and met his intense eyes, unable to look away.
His thin lips were hot. Scarlett could smell his scent. Her heart beat faster.
He gripped her waist with his big hands. The deeper he kissed her, the closer he held her.
Nearly five minutes passed before Raymond let go of her.
He removed his hand from the back of Scarlett's neck. Immediately after that, he pressed her against him.
Scarlett slightly squinted her eyes, looking at her hands clutching his clothes. Her ears were filled with the sound of her quick heartbeat.
Scarlett couldn't help twitching, wanting to move away from him.
Yet as soon as she moved, Raymond, who was holding her, gave a deep, muffled grunt. "Don't move, Scarlett."
He seemed to be ordering and begging her.
Scarlett stiffened for a moment. Her eyes moved slightly. Looking at Raymond's Adam's apple, she swallowed uncontrollably.
She had an impulse to bite it.
However, she restrained herself and said after a pause, "I want to drink water."
She glanced at Raymond.
Before he could hide it, she saw his eyes filled with desire.
For a moment, Scarlett's mind was blank.
After regaining her composure, she got out of his arms and sat by his side as if nothing had happened. She took the glass from the table and lowered her head to drink the water that had already cooled. The cold water went into her stomach. Scarlett's mind cleared. She tilted her head to look at Raymond. "It's almost ten o'clock.
Raymond touched her head. "I'm going back."
He didn't want to go at all, but if he stayed, he couldn't control himself.
Scarlett had calmed down. She looked as relaxed as usual as if they hadn't kissed passionately just now.
I'll send you downstairs."
Raymond didn't refuse. They went down to the garage together.
When they reached the entrance of the garage, Raymond hugged her. "Go back."
Scarlett didn't go further, standing at the entrance and watching him get in his car. The car slowly drove out of the garage, and the door of the garage closed. She turned around, going upstairs.
The car drove out of the villa. Raymond looked out the window. The lights on the second floor were turned off, and the room on the third floor was soon lit up.
His eyes moved. He was thinking about whether Scarlett would agree if he proposed to her.
Obviously, she wouldn't.
Raymond pursed his lips, stepping on the gas and driving away.
Not long after the car drove out of the villa, his cell phone rang.
Scarlett called him. Another of Raymond's phones used for work was left behind.
Scarlett asked if he was going back to get it now or tomorrow.
Raymond didn't hesitate to go back now. He drove forward for about 2000 feet and turned back.
Scarlett stood on the balcony after calling him. She saw Raymond's car when it turned at the small intersection, and then she went downstairs with his phone. Just as she walked out, Raymond got out of his car.
Scarlett opened the door and handed the phone to him. "Did you do that on purpose?"
"If I say no, will you believe me?"
Scarlett grunted. "Since when did you like to play such tricks?"
The night breeze in May was cool. In the light, Scarlett's face looked soft and charming.
Raymond looked down at her, unwilling to leave.
He took the phone and then held her in his arms. He leaned his head on her shoulder." Scarlett, can I stay here tonight?"
He buried his face in her shoulder. His voice was muffled and somewhat pitiful.
Scarlett raised her eyebrows. A gust of wind ran through his short hair. It brushed her chin and made her a little itchy.
She looked down and couldn't help touching her chin with a smile. "Then do you want a surprise?"
Raymond looked up at her, puzzled. "What do you mean?"
Scarlett curved her lips, looking sideways at him. "How about keeping our relationship a secret forever?"
