Madelyn's menstrual cramps eased significantly after finishing the
tea.
Andrew showered and joined her in bed, pulling her close. When she turned and wrapped her arm around his slender waist, she felt him tense slightly. He adjusted until she found a comfortable position and the
In the dead of night, thunder rolled loudly outside. Instinctively, Madelyn nestled closer into Andrew's embrace. He blinked awake, tenderly cradling the back of her head to comfort her. "It's just a storm, darling. Madelyn nestled deeper into his arms, lulled back to sleep by his soothing words. She slept soundly through the night.
Andrew rose early the next morning. As Madelyn groggily opened her, eyes, she noticed him dressed neatly. Spotting her awake, he said lovingly, "Breakfast is ready. Would you like some?"
Though still tired, Madelyn managed to sit up. After freshening up and emerging from the bedroom, she found Andrew already in the dining room where breakfast awaited her. Glancing at the tableware, she
noticed the breakfast was from a luxurious hotel.
Andrew set a bowl of pumpkin soup before her and said, "The tea is in the kitchen. Benson will take you home once you feel rested enough."
