Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3189 Turning Point

Inside Fiorenna's palace, Gadel sat by her bedside. He gently held her hand and whispered, "Rest assured, Fiorenna. I'll do everything in my power to save our child."

The woman on the bed was pale. Her lips were slightly cracked due to her unable to drink.

"Your Majesty, it's okay. You've done your best." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she comforted him, her heart ached for the child in her belly. Yet, she didn't want to pressure Gadel too much. "Rest well. I'll replace a solution." His voice was low. Four days had passed since then. There were three days left.

Their child might not survive if they couldn't replace someone to treat Fiorenna.

Moreover, the physician had told Gadel about a secret.

The illness had caused physical impairment to Fiorenna, and she could never conceive again if the child couldn't be saved.

Gadel exited the room and looked up at the sky in the corridor as helplessness dawned on him. He exhaled deeply.

"Your Majesty, I have an idea." The royal physician who waited outside approached his troubled king.

Gadel grabbed the elderly man's shoulders like grasping at a straw. He urgently demanded, "Any method will do as long as it's efficient."

The royal physician stroked his beard and recalled in awe. "The witch doctors are the most mysterious force in Montiria. Make them submit, and you can use them to your advantage."

Gadel frowned at the suggestion. He was aware of their existence. Yet, whether it was back in his days as the prince or now during his reign, the witch doctors always declined his request to recruit them.

He wondered how his father, King Gawain I, managed to recruit the witch doctors.

He had run out of choices.

"Right. Let's head to the Witch Tower."

The witch doctors usually gathered in the

The Witch Tower was five stories tall. The ancient architecture added to its charm.

Gadel stood before the ancient door. He knocked on the door after a moment of pondering.

Despite being the king, he was there to ask for help that day. Therefore, he must show courtesy.

The door creaked open.

Gadel couldn't help but grimace at the high-pitched sound. He involuntarily took a step back.

An old lady in a flannel shirt with round glasses answered the door. She was holding a cane, her expression gentle.

She was surprised to see Gadel standing upright at the door. She exclaimed, "Your Majesty, what brings you here?" He smiled at her. "I'm here for two things."

"Come inside. It's cold out there. I don't want you to catch a cold." She turned around with her cane.

Gadel asked the guards, Arnold, and Jaylen to wait outside before following the woman inside.
