Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3200 Aelion Tarian
The pitch-black night had settled in, casting an eerie stillness over a deep lake in Montiria. This particular lake was known for its incredible depth-so deep that when viewed from afar, the water appeared as a solid black void. It was rumored to be 300 feet deep, and locals
avoided the area after dark, for falling in would mean almost certain death.
Standing at the edge of the lake was a mysterious figure cloaked in black, completely hidden from view. The figure silently stared at the water, lost in thought.
"I never expected to replace one here... It seems it's already taken human form," a soft voice murmured from beneath the cloak, a voice both bewitching and alluring with an undertone of sly charm. It was the kind of voice that could easily be mistaken for the sweet song of a nightingale or the melodious cry of a phoenix.
Beneath the cloak, a breathtakingly beautiful face emerged-if Matthew were here, he would have recognized her instantly. It was Sasha, his wife, whom he had been searching high and low. However, this Sasha was different; her entire being radiated a captivating allure. Seeing no reaction from the depths of the lake, Sasha frowned slightly, giving her an air of gentle fragility. "Oh dear, it seems you're trapped."
She flicked her hand, sending a stream of white light into the water, diving deep below the surface.
At the bottom of the lake, a humanoid figure covered in algae lay motionless. A closer look revealed that its limbs were tightly bound by four chains, though the chains were partially buried in the sediment and not immediately visible.
The white light descended, brushing lightly over the chains. In an instant, the iron chains, which had resisted rust for countless years, snapped cleanly.
As the chains broke, the algae-covered figure shuddered almost imperceptibly. With each passing second, the figure's movements grew stronger, as if slowly awakening from a long slumber.
Suddenly, the once-dark sky above filled with a red glow, with flashes of lightning flickering through the crimson clouds.
Atop the Witch Tower, Elder Wynter,
who had been stargazing, was startled by the sudden eruption of
red light in the distance. "A great et
calamity looms, red light covering the sky, a terrible omen... Why is this connected to my witch clan?"
Elder Wynter hesitated for a
moment before deciding to investigate, Despite her age, she moved with surprising agility, covering dozens of yards in a single stride, a far cry from her usual frail demeanor.
The witch clan was known to the world only through the witch doctors of the Witch Tower. This might be a sign of a new opportunity for the clan.
Back at the lake, Sasha seductively smiled as she gazed at the blood-red light in the sky. With a flash, she vanished from sight, reappearing in the shadows far away.
Meanwhile, the figure at the bottom
of the lake continued to stir, finally rising to its feet. A powerful surge of energy radiated from within, causing the water to churn violently. The algae covering the figure's body was true
blasted away, revealing itody was
form-a jade humanoid, its features clear yet impossible to discern whether it was male or female. The
white robe it wore, once entangled in seaweed, remained pristine, untouched by any other color.
The jade humanoid's feet pressed firmly against the lakebed, and it propelled itself upward.
Splash!
The surface of the water exploded as the jade humanoid leaped out, landing gracefully on the shore.
Just then, Elder Wynter arrived, and upon seeing the jade humanoid, she felt an inexplicable sense of kinship. "Elder Wynter of the witch clan greets you, my friend. May I ask your name?"
The jade humanoid hesitated, looking at Elder Wynter, and, in a somewhat clumsy imitation, performed a rudimentary witch clan greeting.
"My... name is... Aelion Tarian," the jade figure replied haltingly, struggling to speak as if it hadn't used its voice in a long time.
