Breda screamed in pain when both her wolf and she felt the pain. The pain of betrayal Their mate was cheating on them. Hot tears rolled out of her eyes because of the unbearable pain. She was sure that a part of her dusky skin would have turned a shade of blue and black.

A scar that appeared when a mate cheated on you. This wasn’t a permanent scar, but it remained for more than a day.

‘I warned you from the beginning that you should tell him your real identity.’ Her wolf scolded her human. ‘If I lose my mate because of your stupidity, then you’re welcome to stay in this body alone.’

More tears rolled from her eyes. She wanted to tell Zahir that she did what she was told because Zelda threatened to kill their pup and would have revealed her identity in front of him. Breda wouldn’t have taken her threat seriously until she realized that Tiara Haysbert was working for Zelda.

She knew that she couldn’t act like Zelda’s puppet, so she intentionally got caught in the CCTV footage. In that way, neither Zelda could use her as a puppet nor threaten her to reveal her identity because she revealed her identity on her own, and she did so in such a way that anyone would feel that Breda got caught, and she had no other choice but to open her mouth.

Breda wiped her eyes and swore to join Zelda in case she wasn’t kicked out of the pack. She would join her to ruin her from the inside.

‘I will make her regret butting into my life and ruining my family.’ Breda thought. They shared the same mother, but because of her mother’s evil ways, Breda grew up with her father, who died. She learned that her mother was also dead by then.

The only family that she had was Zelda, but instead of treating her like a younger sister, Zelda always used her in her favor.

Things would have been the same if she hadn’t met Zahir.

Wylder pushed Zahir away, looking at him in disbelief while Night growled in anger.

Did Breda’s betrayal make him gay?

“Are you drunk?” Wylder asked with a growl. “Or imagining me as your mate even when you’re in your senses?”

Zahir ran his fingers in his hair, sighing. “Sorry for the k**s, man.” I can’t go and k**s any random girl to hurt you, so I chose you. She might have felt the pain of

“Have you lost your mind? The pain might cause the death of your pup.’ Wylder exclaimed, knowing his intention. Though he knew that this was possible only in the case of an omega or any ordinary wolf, A mother could be way stronger than any other female.

“Didn’t you say that use mate bond?” Zahir questioned. Wylder glared at him, silently telling him that ‘this wasn’t what he meant.’ “I’m sure she would have felt that. Anyway, thanks for the idea. I will see you later. Good Night.”

“Good Night.” Wylder mumbled before reminding him, “I hope you remember that tomorrow both Eliam and I are leaving for the coven.”

“Yeah.. yeah!!” Zahir nodded because he had forgotten this.

“Just because you will be in charge tomorrow, dare you to transfer Breda’s pup from her womb?”

“You’re not in the position to decide that, Alpha. It’s between us.”

“In that case, it’s your Alpha order that no witch or wizard will cross my border in my absence,” Wylder said, using his Alpha tone. He didn’t want to use that, but at that moment, he was running out of options.

“Yes, Alpha.” Zahir’s head submitted because of Wylder’s aura.

When Wylder returned to his room, he observed Arabella shivering and sweating in fear again. She needed help from a psychiatrist, and he had to talk about it with her later.

Thinking all this, he joined her in the bed, even though it was small for the two of them.

‘I bet she won’t mind us beside her.’ Night,” he said, wrapping his hand around her waist.

“I’m here, Ara.” He whispered in her ear, and it worked. It looked like even in her sleep, she could recognize his presence.

Wylder prevented himself from opening his eyes when he felt a finger caressing his face.

‘He is really here.’ He heard her mumbling as if she were confirming his presence.

Arabella smiled, observing that he was absolutely fine. She smiled, thinking about how he had protected her. Taking advantage of his sleep, she kissed his chest above his heart. A part of her was tempted to k**s his dusty pink lips, but she didn’t want to cross her line.

She recalled Wylder calling that man by his name. Did Wylder know him?

How?

Even in the beginning, he mentioned that they were for him, not her, but in the end, it looked like they were for both of them.

She kissed his chest again, and a lone tear escaped from her eyes in joy.

“I won’t leave you, Alpha, even though you’re leaving me in the future,” Arabella whispered, hugging Wylder without noticing that a lone tear escaped from his eyes as well.

Hearing her words, he regretted breaking the promise that he made to Tiara.

*

“Ara, Ara, stop crying.” Wylder said Tiara started crying after hearing his confession. He couldn’t understand whether she was overwhelmed with his confession or what. “You’re scaring me. Stop crying, please.”

“I can’t love you back, Wild.” She said this, crying like a baby and shaking her head.

Wylder made her look into his eyes; he brought his hands up to her cheeks. “I didn’t want to make you feel guilty by confessing my love or anything, Ara because I knew that hearing my confession was the last thing that you wanted to hear, and that too when you had shut yourself off from falling in love again.”

“But in the future, if any miracle happens and you ever replace yourself in the position to fall in love again, then fall in love with me. Because I will always love you, no matter what.”

“Does that mean you will never leave me even if I don’t reciprocate your feelings? You will be by my side, right, always?”

“Ara” Wylder stroked her face anxiously.

“I’m not leaving you.” “I will be right here as long as you want me.”

“Do you swear you won’t leave me?” Tiara asked again. “I don’t know, Wild. I’m scared that one day I’m going to lose everything that is dear to me.” She added, and tears rolled out of her eyes again. Wylder could smell her fear and hear how her ribs were throbbing.

He brought his face close to her. His eyes were looking at her seriously before he spoke, “I swear.”

*

A part of him wondered if whatever happened with Tiara was because of him. If he hadn’t left her side, then nothing would have happened. But then, Tiara didn’t want him, did she?

“You will always love her, don’t you?” Night asked.

‘Always. I can’t lie to myself about that.’ Wylder responded. ‘But that doesn’t mean I will never fall in love again or shut myself off from loving someone. I won’t make the same mistake that she did. Because we are two and I can see your growing interest in this little witch.’ He teased his Lycan, who snickered. He wanted to lick Arabella’s face, taking control, but then she would wake up.
