‘Either this truth will snatch everything from Caro, both her love and her family. Or she will understand that both Sophia and Artemis are innocent between all this mess.’ Brandon hissed, thinking this. He knew his daughter; in other cases, she would have acted normally, but this matter was related to the murder of her real parents.

“You mentioned that each angel is paired with a Devil as per God,” Brandon said all of a sudden, looking at Sila. “My Princess is half human and half angel. Then is it possible that even she is paired with some Devil?” he asked.

“I don’t know. It can be possible. And it can’t be possible as well because Moon Goddess has already paired her with Artemis.” Sila replied.

“Don’t think of me as the villain, Mr. Haysbert.” Lorenzo Gosling said in a calm tone, seeing how stressed both Brandon, Logan, and Sophia were after listening to this piece of information, especially Sophia. “I know, but who is going to tell her the truth if not us? And Megan doesn’t know that Caroline is Sila’s niece, so there is no chance that she can tell about it to Caroline.” Lorenzo said. Brandon didn’t like the idea of hiding anything from Caroline, but not that the death of her parents related to Sophia’s family members was really disturbing.

They just couldn’t drop a bomb on her by saying this. As of now, he didn’t have any other choice than to hide the truth from Caroline.

Immediately Brandon heard the soft cries of Artin. “Sophia, Artin is awake!!”

“He is awake.” Both Lorenzo and Brandon said the same thing at the same time. Sophia nodded her head and went to get Artin, who was sleeping in her room. She picked him up in her pack and careless his back softly, whispering soothing words in his ear.

She walked out of the room, holding him in her arms. He had hidden his head in the crook of her neck, still trying to come out of his sleep.

“So, now he can stay without…”

“Don’t take their name. He will start looking for them.” Sophia said, cutting Sila in between. She had observed that now Artin had learned to stay away from Caroline as long as he didn’t see her or hear her voice or hear her name.

Sila couldn’t help but walk toward Sophia. “May I?”

“Sure!!” With this, Sophia carefully gave Artin to Sila. Artin’s presence at that place totally changed the atmosphere. At the same time, Sophia and Sila got a chance to speak to each other friendly. Brandon and Lorenzo were wondering about their kids’ future.

‘If Caro leaves Arti just because of his mother’s deeds, then she should also leave her family; after all, her mother is the daughter of that hunter. Ethan Weasley.’ Lorenzo thought.

A few moments later!!

“Caro!!” Artin was finally awake completely and started wigging in Sila’s lap to leave him. “Leave.. Me.” He cried and started hitting her to put him down.

“Okay! Okay!” She said and put him down, chuckling at his innocence. He quickly ran toward the main door, from where he heard the sound of Caroline. But after reaching there, he just found Artemis, who was smiling.

“Are you searching for someone, Champ?” He asked, looking at him.

“Caro?”

“I’m here,” Caroline said, hiding behind the wall. Artin quickly ran toward the voice, but he couldn’t replace Caroline anywhere.

“Need my help?” Artemis offered, on which Artin nodded his head. Picking him in his arms, he asked, “Where is Caro?”

“I’m here!!” Caroline giggled again.

“There” Artin pointed his finger, and Artemis quickly followed his direction but again, Caroline disappeared. Artemis understood that she was now using her power to disappear.

“Oh, so you’re now playing hide and seek for real?”

“Well, now that contestant is an adult, then I have to get serious,” Caroline spoke. Artemis tried to replace her, but he couldn’t. He intentionally pinched Artin’s hand.

“Aahhh!!” he cried in pain and glared at Artemis.

“Artin… Artin!!” Caroline quickly ran to him, wondering why did he cry in pain? “You okay, baby?” Artin started crying when Caroline showed her concern and ran into her arms. “What happened, sweetheart?” She asked and looked at Artemis, asking him silently why he was crying.

“Moon Goddess! He is such an actor.” Artemis shook his head in disbelief. He hadn’t pinched him that hard, but the little actor was crying so loud as if he was in so much pain.
