My Mate Is A Witch -
Chapter 110
“He… he… pi…pinched… me,” Artin said between his cry.
“Artemissss” Caroline glared at him. “Okay, don’t cry, sweetheart. I will pinch him back.” With this, she pinched him angrily.
“Ouuchh!!” Artemis cried and immediately stopped crying.
“More!!” Artin said, pointing his one-inch finger toward him.
“Babe, your son is conspiring against me. Don’t go on his cute looks.” Artemis assured, pointing his finger at Artin. Caroline looked at his cute pout of Artin and hugged him dearly.
“Don’t blame him. My son is innocent. Now that he wants me to pinch you more than save yourself my attack.” Caroline said with a mischievous grin on her face.
“No! No! No!” Artemis started running, and Caroline ran behind him while Artin giggled happily, seeing all this.
Heartbeats later, Artin was in Artemis’s arms, who was throwing him in the air, and he was laughing wholeheartedly while Caroline was smiling and looking at them.
“Take a picture of my granddaughter’s family.” Logan, Caroline Grandpa said, and both Brandon and Lorenzo took his phones from his pocket to capture this beautiful moment. And they looked at each other when they realized that they were doing the same thing.
“Are you two going to play a staring game?” Sophia asked to which Sila chuckled.

“Mom, dad!! What a pleasant surprise!!” Caroline said when she saw the parents of her mate at her house after playing with Artin for a while. She hugged Sila and gave a side hug to Lorenzo, and looked at Artemis, who was still playing with Artin in the playground.
‘So, this was what he was hiding from me.’ Caroline thought.
“I told Artemis to keep this as a surprise,” Sila said, assuming what was going on in her mind. Caroline just smiled on that part and didn’t comment anything on that.
“Mom!! Are you alright?” Caroline asked, sensing something wrong after observing Sophia’s face.
“Nothing, Princess. She is just sad that you will soon leave.” Brandon responded quickly before she would have started asking a lot of questions.
“Aww!! Mom,” Caroline hugged Sophia tightly. “I’m not going too far.”
That night Caroline stayed in her parent’s room for a long time, spending time with her mother especially. While Artin was his great grandfather, Logan, listening to stories from him about Prince and Princess. The advantage of grandparents or great-grandparents was at another level.
“What the hell was that, dad?” Artemis finally asked that question that would have disturbed him from lunchtime, but thanks to Caroline, she never let him think about anything else except her. But Lorenzo’s words started haunting him again. “How can Megan Rossi be the reason behind Caroline being an Orphan?” he asked in tension.
“I was just kidding, son.” Lorenzo tried to lie smoothly, but Artemis narrowed his eyes. “What? Only you can be funny?”
“This wasn’t funny, dad. Does… does Megan really do something because of which Caroline lost her parents?” He asked again. However, the information was a little disturbing.
“Artemis, seriously, son? How is that even possible?” Lorenzo questioned him back instead of lying. He thought to hide the truth from Artemis as well because Caroline was his mate, and if he would know about it, then Caroline could also replace the truth.
‘He is lying.’ Bolt told Artemis.
‘I know.’ Artemis answered him back. “Yeah! You can be right, and what is mom’s past?” Why is there no record of her existence before thirty years?” he questioned next. “And how is her past related to Sarah?”
When no reply came from them, Artemis sighed before speaking. “Mom, dad!! Is something written over my forehead?” he asked in a serious tone.
“On your forehead?” Lorenzo asked in confusion.
“No,” Sila replied.
“Oh, you can’t replace anything. I thought you saw IDIOT or STUPID written over here.” He mocked, glaring at them. “I don’t know what you both are trying to hide, but I have my own way of replaceing the truth if you don’t tell me. But I can already guess that whatever it is, it is related to my mate and my mate’s real parents. And it is definitely not good news.”
“If you already sense this, then can you just let go of this topic.” His father suggested. “Caroline’s parents also know the truth now, and even they are hiding the truth from her for a better future.”
Artemis didn’t come back on that part at that moment, but he wasn’t very satisfied with this.
“Good night, Mom!! Good night, dad.” He said and left from there.
“I’m having a feeling that he didn’t like the idea of keeping Caroline in the dark,” Sila commented, reading Artemis’s behavior.
“I know. It is written all over his face, but I’m doing this for his betterment. Moreover, if we won’t tell him the truth, then who will tell him the truth? So, relax.”
“I can’t, Enzo,” Sila muttered. “Mr. Haysbert was right about the part that truth can’t always be hidden. Just because it was hidden for the last twenty-five years doesn’t mean it will still take twenty-five years more to stay hidden from Caroline.” She added.

In Caroline’s room!!
“Why are you calling me this late?” Artemis asked when he received a call from his assistant at this moment.
“I’m sorry, sir. You wanted to confirm whether you’re coming to the office or not?” Kane asked meekly.
“Don’t worry, I will be there. But I will be continuing my work from Paris for a while, so try not to schedule any meeting after seven.”
“Okay, sir.”
