“And most importantly, Kane, I will need at least three to four weeks for my wedding. So, it’s your responsibility to schedule my day in such a way that I will finish all my work before my wedding, and I will be able to enjoy my honeymoon as well.” Artemis ordered on which Kane wanted to slam his head with the wall because he would have to a lot from now onwards. His wife and his son were already upset with his schedule. A few days back, they were working day and night to crack the deal and arrange funds, and now this.

“I know that you’re not able to take a break. Even at this moment, I’m enjoying my time with my in-laws while I left you with the work.” Artemis continued. “That’s why I’m allowing you fifteen days’ holiday as well. Just let me know the place where you dream of visiting with your family. I will cover up all the expenses.”

“Okay, sir,” Kane responded with a smile on his lips. Two weeks’ holiday to any part of the world without paying a single penny was like a lottery to him.

“See you in the morning, then. Good night.” Artemis said, sensing Caroline’s presence behind him. She wrapped her hand around his waist from behind, leaning her head against his back.

“Good night, sir!!”

After disconnecting the call, he tossed his phone away and grabbed her hand. He kissed her fingertips before asking, “You okay?”

“Yeah!! It’s just that something is disturbing mom, and my gut feeling is saying that it’s not my marriage.” She said before changing the topic. “By the way, I had talked with Rafael, and he is ready to take our marriage project. In fact, he has a couple of presentations. He will send others tomorrow.”

“He was free?” Artemis asked in surprise.

“Nope!! He already had another project in his hand, but he transferred it to another wedding planner and apologized to the customers for the same.” Caroline told him. “I asked him why he did do so, to which he replied that family always comes first.” She added.

“I mean seriously, in the span of twenty-five years. We have met once, and he still considers me as a part of the family.” Caroline giggled, and Artemis wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes. “I’m so lucky, hon. I feel so lucky that mom and dad chose me.”

“Then why are you crying?”

“It’s tears of happiness.” Caroline expressed, and then they both watched the presentation that Caroline had received in her email. “By the way, he was asking the number of guests that will be attending the wedding.”

“To be honest, I don’t want unwanted people. So, how about 800-1000 people? A grand wedding but only with the only close ones.”

“Yes, perfect.”

The couples discussed the wedding details and made a rough note of it. A final one would be prepared after discussing it with both families. And then, they decided to finally share their relationship on social media.

Artemis posted a couple of their pictures of Spain tagging her on social media.

“There is no reason to hide our relationship, right?” He asked, to which Caroline nodded with a smile.

A small appeared on a woman’s face when she read the news of Artemis becoming the new CEO of his company.

“Not bad, Emis!! I’m so happy with your success.” She talked with herself and caressed his face with her finger. “You don’t like a teenager boy anymore but a man,” she added, looking at him with l**t, checking all his previous pictures. The skinny teenager with a simple look boy had changed in these ten years. She couldn’t believe that once upon a time, this good-looking man was her.

“Why am I thinking ‘once upon a time?” She questioned herself. “He is still mine and will be mine again.” She smiled with that thought and refreshed her news feed immediately after the news photos uploaded by Artemis appeared on social media.

“What the f**k?” She exclaimed.

“Are you going to do something or not?” Michelle asked Megan in anger. “I know that you told me that we can’t make Haysbert our enemies. That’s why even after knowing that bitch’s truth at the party, you didn’t plan anything against her then.”

“But now…. now we know that Caroline is not the real daughter of Haysbert, then also you’re doing nothing.” She yelled at Megan.

“Who said that I’m not doing anything?” Megan asked with a smirk. “I’m digging out Caroline’s history. The girl whom her own parents left her can’t match my son’s status. So, before doing anything, I have to know my enemy very well.” She added with a smirk.

Artemis observed the tired look of his assistant, who looked drained out. “Kane, is something wrong with the assistant under you?” He asked, checking the reports. It had been one week since when he started working like a robot. Not just his assistant, even Caroline was feeling irritated with his all-the-time work thing, but just like Peter Parker’s Uncle said in spiderman that WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY. Artemis’s responsibility and level of work had been increased after becoming the CEO of the company.

Since Artemis was a werewolf, his body was able to manage this level of stress, but it was not the same with Kane. That was why he promoted two experienced employees under Kane. After all, Kane was also now the assistant of the CEO.

“Then? Are you not looking so tired?” He questioned, and immediately he smelt Kane’s arousal. He lifted his head and found Kane blushing. “Forget that I even ask something like that with you,” he added, shaking his head.
