Chapter 1603 Hidden Talent

She looked at Elijah in shock.

Elijah effortlessly grabbed Gideon's hand with a blank expression. Then, he tugged on Gideon's limp arm and reattached his dislocated shoulder with another forceful move.

After that, he shoved Gideon away.

Gideon stumbled back several steps before regaining his balance. Clearly, he was bewildered.

"You're hurt, so I shouldn't have used force against you, but don't touch my wife again. Otherwise, after I dislocate your limbs, I won't help you reattach them," Elijah warned, his tone polite.

"Gideon!" Fred and the others rushed out of the two speeding cars that had come to a halt.

Meanwhile, Sally and Elijah got into their own car.

Seeing that, Gideon immediately tried to catch up but was held back by Fred.

"Gideon, have you gone crazy? You got injured in the hospital while looking for her, and your mother had been crying nonstop, worrying about you! All the while, Sally had spent the past few days with a man in a hotel. Why are you still after trash like her?" Fred shouted.

Gideon's ears were buzzing.

Almost reflexively, he turned and punched Fred in the face.

Fred winced, falling to the ground from the punch.

Gideon pounced on him, grabbing his collar. "Who's trash? Say it again! Who's trash?"

Fred was just as stubborn as Gideon, and both having grown up spoiled.

Even if he was going to get beaten up, he wouldn't change his mind. "She had more flings than I could count! If she's not trash, then who is? Damn it, Gideon. We've known each other since we were kids, and you're hitting me because of a woman? Is this how you're going to treat someone who came back abroad just to visit you?"

Gideon looked at Fred. The emotions that swelled within him were about to explode.

He suddenly recalled the words Athena had said before. "The way the people around Sally treat her depends on how you treat her, doesn't it?"

Gideon clutched his chest. As he gulped, he seemed to have tasted blood in his mouth.

"Gideon!" Fred sensed that something was wrong with Gideon. He stopped scolding him, setting his grievances aside, and called Gideon's name.

By the next instant, Gideon turned his head and spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Oh, my gosh!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.

Gideon let go of Fred, lying on the ground with his face up, staring at the clear blue sky.

Then, he cried with all his might.

Inside the car, Sally was still in awe of Elijah's astonishing moves just now.

"Elijah!"

Elijah's hands trembled slightly. He had fought Gideon, so he assumed she would chide him, feeling bad for Gideon.

Just as he resigned himself to his fate...

"Why didn't you tell me you could do that?" Sally's voice was full of shock. "When I first met you, you were so cultured and refined. Who would have thought that you could be so powerful? I was afraid you'd lose to Gideon if you were to fight him..."

Elijah was utterly bewildered. "Are you not going to scold me?"

"Scold you? For what? You've been so good these past few days..."

The car suddenly swerved on the road.

"Slow down! Slow down!" Sally gripped her seatbelt.

"All right..." Elijah muttered, still not understanding the situation. "Why aren't you scolding me? I dislocated Gideon's arm."

"But you put it back, didn't you?" Sally blurted out, "No, let's think about it logically. He wanted to steal your wife, right? And you, defending your wife, used force, right? It's reasonable. Why should you be scolded? Elijah, am I so unreasonable in your eyes?"
