My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup -
Chapter 1783
Chapter 1783 Three Documents
Three days later.
It was Gideon's birthday.
He wanted to blow out the birthday candles on Black Beach, the same ones Sally had wanted to blow out with him eight years ago.
"Mr. Hale..."
Levi gazed at Gideon, lost in thought.
"Levi, when you started working for me, you were so naive that I had to abandon all my gentlemanly manners. But now, you're truly remarkable," Gideon looked at Levi. "Athena has been wanting to poach you for a while now. Go to her, work hard, and when I return from my wanderings, if I'm needy and homeless, I can always turn to you."
"Even if you don't work, your money would last hundreds of lifetimes." Levi wiped away his tears.
Levi came from an impoverished family.
Levi faced hellish difficulties from the moment he was born.
Levi was born into extreme poverty. A falling rock killed his father before he was born. His mother, unable to afford medical care after giving birth, passed away within a few years.
His grandparents, who made handcrafted items, struggled to raise Levi.
When Levi was seven years old.
A mine was discovered near their village.
Half a year later, he met the young and distinguished Gideon for the first time.
That day, many people visited the house of the village chef.
The young boy, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, stood out brilliantly among the crowd.
Levi had never seen a person who seemed to glow.
He was completely mesmerized.
Later, the village chief told everyone that Levi's parents had passed away, and his grandparents were seriously ill. Despite being a brilliant student, Levi couldn't afford to continue his education. After that, Levi received financial support from Gideon.
From the muddy paths of the village to the bustling city, Levi eventually found himself by Gideon's side.
To Levi, Gideon was a benefactor whose kindness was immeasurable.
"Who knows? Maybe I'll go to the African savannah, replace the animals adorable, and donate all my money to an animal protection organization on a whim," Gideon chuckled.
"That sounds like something Ms. Campbell would do, not you." Levi muttered.
Gideon's smile turned somewhat sad.
"See, you understand Sally better than I do."
In her travel plans, she had indeed written. [Before setting off, remind Gideon to keep an eye on me, so I don't donate all my money to an animal protection organization after replaceing some cute animals!]
Around that date.
Gideon remembered reading a long post from the photographer who followed Sally.
Not long before that post, Sally had donated all her money.
Sally struggled financially for the next two months.
"Mr. Hale..." Levi looked at Gideon with a complex expression.
"Don't pity me." Gideon warned.
Levi lowered his gaze, not responding, and pointed to the third document. "What's this one?"
Levi was still somewhat anxious.
After all, the first two documents had been quite shocking.
This third one.
"It contains several authorizations for regular transfers."
"You're going to transfer money to Ms. Campbell regularly?" Levi's eyes widened. "Mr. Hale, don't do it. Sally won't appreciate it!"
Levi hadn't interacted with Sally extensively, but he had met her several times.
While Ms. Campbell might sometimes seem indecisive, she had strong principles regarding some issues.
So, Levi sometimes said that Sally was in love but with a clear mind.
"It's not for her." The light in Gideon's eyes dimmed considerably. "It's for Byron and Athena's two children, Bubbles, and a few other kids I'm fond of. On their birthdays, Children's Day, and Christmas, I'll give them a gift of money."
