Athena's POV

"Take your time love" coos Eros, both he and Ares both moving to lay a comforting hand on me.

Sighing, I move to close my eyes before mustering up the courage to speak. "It all started when I was a little girl. I was only 9 years old at the time and absolutely loved spending time with my parents" admits Athena softly, a sad smile rising. "My parents, Alpha Ryder and Luna Selene were the most kind, yet fair rulers of Moon Valley. Everyone loved them. That was until one uneventful day. The day he decided to show up" replies Athena, remembering that day all too clearly. "Who did?" asks Emily.

"The Rogue King" answers Athena. "My parents and I along with my father's Beta, Gamma, and Delta were all enjoying a nice picnic when suddenly we were under attack. Thousands of Rogues storming our home." "Then what happened?" asks Sam, a twinge of sadness rising for his Luna..

"Like anything really. The Rogues tore through my entire home. It happened so fast that no one had any time to act. Both my mother and my father rushed off, leaving me alone with their Beta. Their Gamma and Delta moving to help other pack members" admits Athena. was was only 9, without any means to fight and all I could do was sit back and watch as these Rogues ripped through my whole entire pack. "No" answers Athena sadly. "No one ever came back for me. I spent the entire night alone. Crying my eyes out in hopes that my parents would come back or that someone, anyone would replace me. But sadly that was the last time I ever saw anyone. The Rogue King came barreling into my home, just to search for me. This supposed chosen one, set forth by the Moon Goddess to rule over all and unite all packs cries Athena, her wounds now open and the pain unbearable.

"So.. if Athena's family perished when the Rogue King attacked, when did the Moon Walker Pack replace her?" asks Seth, trying to put together the pieces.

"A day later. Apparently, the Alpha was coming to visit my father as they had been really good friends at the time, only except when he arrived did he replace the horrors of what had happened. In that moment, he went racing through the pack, in hopes of replaceing someone, anyone only to hear me. For I was still crying which thankfully led him to me. "And.. was everything okay?" asks Lucas, knowing that they weren't but needed to know.

"At the beginning, yes. As a child my aunt and uncle loved me. But then-as I grew older, their love for me turned into hatred. I became the pack slave. Forced into doing their bidding" remarks Athena, remembering her uncle and aunt.

"Whoa, easy there... they'll get what's coming to them, trust me' replies Ares to his wolf, the urge to avenge his mate great. **ma and Delta" asks Kai, remembering when he threw them out of the room for even touching their Luna

Freezing, Athena suddenly remembers that night, "T-They did, they ganged up on me. That night of the dinner. My cousin Brian, along with Shane and David. They had decided to follow me home.. Where they.. Where they..." chokes Athena, the memory painful. "Where they what, Love?" ask Ares, trying to control his own rage.

"Where they forced themselves upon me. Brian and David both forced me into giving them a b**** while Shane took me from behind. My a***his own personal toy" was all Athena could say as fresh new tears came rushing forth, every painful memory flooding her mind. "THOSE A*** OSE A*** F***KS" roared Eros, moving to stand, unable to contain his anger any longer. "Easy there son:" tries Alarick, hoping to calm his son down

While his own anger rose.

"NO! That pack brutally hurt my mate. Forced her to do things against her will and then tormented her! They deserve to pay for their crimes" yells Eros, seething.

"And they will, but we need to be smart about this. Clearly the Alpha has no knowledge of this, only the Beta, Gamma and Delta. Which means we need to be careful when confronting them for they could deny every bit of it" remarks Alarick trying to think logically. Growling, Eros moves to storm from the room, slamming the door as he did. Scaring Athena who was still upset. 'Dude! Our mate needs us' scolds Ares, to his brother.

"NOT NOW ARES!" snaps Eros threw the link. 'I need time to cool off. I don't want Athena to see me like this, I don't want her to think that I'm angry at her or that I no longer want her as a mate because of what happened to her... please just give me space". ...Okay, I'll give you space. Just don't keep Athena waiting' was all Ares says before closing the link to his brother.
