Owned By Her Triplet Bullies -
(Bk 2) Chapter 14
Lexi's POV
I groaned, opening my eyes abruptly, which was a very big mistake. The light from the room shone brightly adding to my already growing headache that I had to quickly shut my eyes. My hands moved along the bed trying to locate my phone. It was always beside me whenever I slept but I noticed something strange. My bed felt wider and softer than normal. I slowly opened my eyes again and it met with a shimmering chandelier. I frowned, I had no chandelier in my room.
I glanced around the huge room and the entire walls were white including the curtains, there was a sofa on the right side and a reading table by the edge of the left. The balcony doors were wide open and the wind made the curtains sway gently. Unless, my parents moved to a new apartment while I was asleep, where the f**k was I?.
My heart hammered loudly in my chest as I clutched the white sheets tightly. I fearfully lifted the sheet and glanced down at my body. I let out a breath of relief. Thankfully, I was wearing a shirt even though it wasn't my clothes, I was glad I wasn't naked. "Where is this?" I mumbled as I glanced around.
"I can see you are awake," I heard a deep voice say. I hurriedly looked towards the door and Mason's face came into view. I grabbed the sheets tightly feeling angry at his arrival.
"Why are you here?" I asked, gazing at him with disdain.
"Again with that question," he sighed, walking towards the table.
"Answer me! What are you doing here?" I repeated through gritted teeth.
"This is my house and my room. I should be asking you why you are here. You are the unwanted guest," he responded as he took a seat. I leapt up from the bed ignoring my aching head.
"W..why am I in your room? How did I get here? What on earth did you do to me?" I asked, pointing towards him accusingly. His eyes trailed along my naked legs. I hurriedly grabbed the sheets and completely wrapped my body with it.
"Take those predatory eyes from my body!" I yelled at him.
"I don't think you are in a position to yell or make demands. Don't you remember what happened yesterday?" he asked calmly.
"What happened yesterday?" I muttered as I began to recount it. "I came to your house for a party because Mady invited me, I met Torres, I had a couple of glasses of juice then I went outside for some fresh air. After that...," I paused trying hard to recount what happened after walking outside.
"After that....don't tell me, you made me drink alcohol and brought me up to your room," I gasped in horror.
"What? What do you take me for? Going through the trouble of drugging you? You constantly seem to keep forgetting who you are talking to," he said with a frown.
"You might have different girls at your disposal but I've told you severally that I'm not them. How dare you bring me here without my consent? Goodness knows what you've done while I was asleep," I said. He leaned back into his chair.
"So you don't remember everything from last night?" he asked. Why was he so persistent about last night? Just what happened last night? My eyes suddenly widened in shock.
"We didn't...you...me...we didn't right?" I stuttered in horror, glancing at the bed. His eyes also widened when he realized what I meant.
"Never in a million years. Don't even dream of it," he hurriedly said. I took a deep breath of relief. He relaxed and picked up a pen wanting to write something down but he stopped and traced his lips with the pen instead. He looked towards me. Wait a minute, those lips, why do I feel like I have been in close contact with them? Did something really happen between us last night and he is lying about it?
Flashback to the previous night.
"The Mason I absolutely detest. My..stupid..mate,"
I had been feeling queasy all night so when I finally threw up and emptied all the content in my stomach, I felt so much relief. I rolled over to the floor feeling the gentle breeze on my skin. I chuckled. "f**k! f**k! f**k!" I heard someone yelling repeatedly.
"Why are you yelling so much? My head hurts," I groaned.
"Have you f*****g gone insane?" he screamed angrily. I chuckled in response. I didn't know who this person was but I felt relieved hearing how angry he sounded.
"This was obviously a huge mistake. I should have never tried helping you," he said. I heard shuffling around and I wobbled up on my feet too. I stumbled over to the edge of the roof and looked down.
"Why does it look so far?" I whispered with a smile. I tried to move back but I slipped and began to fall downwards. I screamed loudly and shut my eyes. After a while, I didn't feel the pains I was expecting if I had hit the floor. I slowly opened my eyes and glanced around.
"Wow! I'm floating in the air," I squealed happily, flailing my arms around. Someone scoffed. I began to feel movements around me. I threw my head back and screamed excitedly.
"I feel so alive. Tonight is the best night ever!" I said at the top of my voice.
"For f**k's sake, keep quiet," he grumbled. He gently placed me down and started to walk away. After he left, I walked towards his desk and stared at the neatly arranged books. I picked one up and the rest crumbled.
"It's like a house of cards," I giggled before walking towards the closet and flinging it open. My hands trailed across the neatly arranged clothes and picked one up. I wanted to turn around but I fell back into the closet. I squealed.
"Is it that hard for you to sit still and stop touching my things?" he asked in an upset tone. He pulled me up and I stumbled into his arms.
"You reek of alcohol and vomit," he said scrunching up his nose in disgust. He pulled me towards the bathroom. My clothes felt so itchy and I was uncomfortable.
"Brush your teeth properly and take a shower...," he started but paused when I took off my gown. His eyes widened in shock before he hurriedly turned around. "What are you doing?" he asked.
"Taking my clothes off obviously. It's uncomfortable," I mumbled. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration.
"Why would you do that in front of me? Are you that drunk? Or do you think because you hate me I wouldn't make advances at you? I never will but you can't do that in front of a guy..."
"What is he going on about?" I muttered before turning on the shower. I felt instant relief as soon as the warm water hit my skin. He quickly stepped out, still not looking at me.
"Do not fall and crack your head on my bathroom floor. Blood is hard to clean off," he warned before slamming the door shut. After showering, I wore a towel and headed out. My head was clearer now.
"Wear that shirt quickly," he instructed as soon as I stepped out with his back turned towards me. I took the shirt and put it on.
"Have you worn it?" he inquired. I hummed in response. He spoke as he turned around.
"Now, you can go home. Call someone to come pick you up... why are you laying in my bed?" he asked with a frown. "It's so comfortable," I yawned.
"You hate me, don't you? Go to your own house and sleep in your own bed," he said pointing towards the door furiously.
"You are right, I do hate you," I said with my eyes closed. The room became silent and I was finally at peace.
"Why?" I heard him mumble.
"Because you are all the same," I replied before succumbing to the darkness that had slowly engulfed me. Somewhere in between my slumber, it was so cold but it suddenly felt warm and I pulled the sheets that were now on top of me closer. End of flashback.
My knees grew weak in shock after I recalled everything. I sank into the bed.
"I can see you've remembered," he said.
"Yes, I threw..."
"Don't you dare complete your sentence," he warned. "Do you know what you put me through yesterday? I can still feel it on my face and skin even after showering more than ten times and scrubbing my skin raw. I can't get that image out of my head," he said through gritted teeth, he snapped the pen he was holding in his hands startling me. I fiddled with my fingers nervously. But, why was I nervous? I also had equal reasons to be mad.
"Haven't I warned you to walk away in the opposite direction whenever you see me coming? And how dare you place your hands on me? If you were really that upset, why not just kick me out or leave me be?" I stood up and yelled at him angrily.
