REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON
Chapter 77: The Big Day

LYRA'S POV

"Lyra!!! It is your wedding dayyy!!" Aria screamed as she walked into my room.

I was still feeling uneasy and still disorganized I just woke up.

"Why are you so hyper?" I groaned as I held on to my head to keep it from spinning.

"Because it is your wedding!!" Aria squealed.

"What is going to bride-to-be? You don't feel good? Why are you looking so pale?" Aria asked me as she examined my body.

"I can't believe you are getting married today!" Aria squealed.

I couldn't believe it too and I was getting married to the love of my life.

"You look so beautiful," Merida gushed as her eyes glistened with unshed tears.

"Thank you," I hugged her.

"In less than thirty minutes you will walk down in isle and in less than an hour, you will be a wife," Aria smiled at me and I nodded as my eyes became teary.

"Awn, sweetheart don't cry. You are the most beautiful bride I have seen and I don't want anything to happen to your make up. You will make the best wife and mother when you have children," Merida kissed my forehead.

I walked down the isle with Aria holding me and Merida at my back, I had so many questions on my mind and I didn't think I will replace answers as I stared at the man that will soon become my husband.

Last night's dream flashed in my mind.

"Hi," I smiled at the spirit.

"Hello Lyra, it is good to meet you again. I came because this is important, I have no say over the fates and they have decided that you would face a life of difficulty. There a lot of things I wished I could tell you but it is not in my place. I will

just advise you to always look at the better side of things and make sure that your life that is full of sorrow turns to one of joy. Remember, I will always be by your side and I am watching you and I will fully support you with any decision you will make," she hugged me and disappeared.

"Ha," I gasped as I woke up.

"What kind of dream was that? what did she mean by my life is going to be a hard one because that is what the fates have decided?" I asked as I felt a chill run down my spine and a feeling of unease settled in my stomach.

I suddenly felt like I was being watched and I looked around but I didn't see anyone.

"My baby girl," my mother said as she held me tight in her arms.

"Mother," I said with tears in my eyes as I hugged my mother, I missed her so much.

"You are finally getting married baby, there are a lot of things I wish I could tell you," she said with tears in her eyes.

"Mother what of father? And why does everyone keep telling me that?" I said in frustration.

Her eyes became sad as she looked at me.

"I wish you well. Whatever happens choose your happiness first, do not stay in a loveless marriage," she warned as she faded away.

I woke up immediately to see it was just midnight and it was yet again another dream talking about the same thing. This was really becoming like a prank. Really what is going on?

I yawned as my eyes became heavy with sleep again.

"Dear child," queen mother called out to me from her palace full with flowers.

"Greetings," I said with a slight bow.

"Do not bow my child, come here," she motioned to me as I walked towards her.

"No matter what happens remember that you are stronger that whatever is going on. I am rooting for you all the way. Whatever decision you make due to the cruel hands of fate, remember everyone around you had your best interest at heart," she smiled warmly at me.

"Please I need you to explain this to me. I have been getting similar messages this night and honestly, I am paranoid. What is going to happen? What does fate have against me?" I asked still feeling confused.

"Time my dear child. In due time you will replace out," she said and I woke up.

"What was that about?" I wondered as I checked my clock to replace that it was morning.

Now I replace myself walking towards the man I know in my heart I love but I can't help but wonder what those dreams were about and what is their connection to my wedding.

As soon as I got to the altar and looked at Kyle, I felt my wolf stir and she felt restless. She knew something, but what was it?

Should I continue with the marriage? The question popped up in my head for the seventh time that morning.

Why am I really doubting this? I am trying to hold off on something? is my wolf aware of something I don't know? I questioned myself as I looked into Kyle's eyes that was full of some kind of emotion I couldn't name. Fear, unease, love, guilt, joy.

"Lyra, I need to..."

"We are here today to join Lyra or luna with Kyle who will become our alpha.," the elder who was officiating our mating ceremony interrupted Kyle.

"We can talk about this after the wedding," I said in a hushed voice as dread settled in the pit of my stomach.

That was my chance to change my fate but I missed it.

We said the words to seal our marriage and we said our vows already. I felt tears streaming down my face and everyone would look at me and think that they were tears of joy, heck even I would like to believe that they are tears of joy, but it wasn't.

I felt like I had lost my chance to escape and I didn't know why.
