Salute To The General -
Chapter 1815
Chapter 1815
Hearing this, Nathan felt a little astounded.
Coney and the others exchanged looks of consternation with one another. Who was this disrespectful jerk, and where had he come from?
Nathan turned around and gazed at Colin. "This person here says he wants to teach me a good lesson. What do you think of it?" Colin looked contemptuously at Adrian. In a rather stiff voice, he said, "You aren't worthy enough to have a go at Mr. Cross yet. Why don't I teach you a lesson on his behalf?"
Adrian felt a wave of anger wash over him. He roared, "You fool! You must be tired of living!"
With that, he leaped off the ground and lunged at Colin with his fist, looking like a berserk lion
that had just been freed from its cage.
However, Colin didn't even bother to avoid his blow. Instead, he lunged forward to meet Adrian's fist with his own.
Bang!
Their fists crashed against each other, and both Colin and Adrian staggered backward from the force.
Truthfully, Colin felt a little shocked. This guy's abilities were far beyond his expectations.
Adrian felt rather stunned as well. He was a well-regarded fighter in the West, but here in Brimmopolis, even a wiry bodyguard like this could hold his own against him.
In a low voice, he growled, "Again!"
With that, he lunged at Colin once again with a deranged, murderous look on his face.
Adrian was by no means a weak fighter, but Colin was far steadier than he was. The experience he brought to each fight wasn't something Adrian could rival.
The battle ahead was sure to be a long and bloody one.
However, Colin quickly broke through Adrian's defenses and landed a kick on Adrian's chest. Adrian flew through the air and landed right in front of Nathan with a loud crash.
Nathan smiled gently down at Adrian from where he was seated on the chair. In a slightly amused tone, he said, "You can't even beat my subordinate, and you want to dream of defeating me? Well, you can dream on! Go home and practice more."
Adrian was furious. He growled like a beast that was about to go on a rampage.
Jumping up from the ground, he leaped at Nathan with his fist extended. "Die!" he roared.
Seeing this, the bystanders gasped loudly in horror.
Nathan merely frowned slightly and returned his punch.
Bang!
Their fists met in a violent crash.
Crack...
The frightening sound of splitting bones resonated through the room.
In the span of a few seconds, the bones in
Adrian's arm had been crushed to dust by Nathan's fist.
With a loud cry of agony, he flew through the air and landed on the ground painfully.
His face was contorted with rage, and his eyes were full of shock and fear.
Nathan had managed to paralyze his arm with one punch! Who was this guy, and where did he get these frightening abilities from?
Grabbing his paralyzed right arm, Adrian endured his pain. Gazing at Nathan with dismay, he asked through gritted teeth, "Who the hell are your Nathan didn't reply him.
Beside him, Colin sniggered loudly. "Dear me!
You came looking for Mr. Cross's trouble without bothering to replace out who he is? | must admire your bravery."
Adrian continued to stare fearfully at Nathan as he wondered who he was.
At that moment, a few people dashed into the room.
Nathan looked up to see a panicked-looking Maverick and his subordinates.
As it turned out, after replaceing out that Adrian had gone to stir up trouble for Colin, Maverick had nearly collapsed in shoek. He had rushed down to the private room with his subordinates immediately.
However, he had arrived too late anyway.
The moment he entered the room, Maverick turned to Nathan and pleaded for mercy on
Adrian's behalf. "Mr. Cross, please spare him!"
Nathan looked at Maverick icily. "Oh, it's you again. Did he come here to avenge you?"
Maverick's face turned white with fear immediately. He stammered "No, not There has been a slight m-misunderstanding. Mr. Cross, you are a man of honor. Please let my friend off the hook this time."
Adrian's fingers tightened around his broken arm. Flailing wildly, he snapped, "Maverick, don't you dare beg him for mercy on my behalf! Who the hell is this guy, anyway?"
Maverick was so anxious that he was about to cry.
In a low voice, he told Adrian, "My dear Adrian, you could have started a fight with anyone in Brimmopolis! Why did you have to choose this man of all people?" "He's the commander-in-chief of the North
Army, who commands three
hundred thousand of its troops! He's
General Nathan Cross himself!
"Were you really trying to pick a fight with the General? How foolish could you be?"
Hearing this, Adrian felt as though he had been struck by a bolt of lightning.
He started convulsing on the spot as his blood pressure surged through the roof. With much effort, Adrian managed to stop himself from throwing up blood.
This guy in front of him was the General of the North?
This was simply terrible!
Adrian wondered if he should bang his head on the wall and end this nightmare for himself.
He finally understood why a mere subordinate of Nathan's could be so talented and powerful, and why Nathan himself possessed such disconcerting abilities.
As it turned out, Nathan was the God of War of Eurasia!
Adrian regretted his actions so much that he wanted to punch himself in the face. He had been too reckless and foolish.
Actually, he should have thought of this possibility beforehand!
An enemy of Mr. Goldstein could not be an ordinary person.
Adrian wondered if he had lost his mind. He had been overly obsessed with getting in the good books of Ceaser Goldstein and pandering to the whims of the Davier family.
Otherwise, why would he have gotten on the wrong side of an important man like Nathan?
