Salute To The General
Chapter 1921

Chapter 1921

“Kill them all!” the enemy fighters shouted, raising their weapons and charging towards Nathan andhis men.

Nathan dashed between the fighters like a streak of lightning, leaving several of them stunned in hiswake.

Just seconds later, the fighters practically disintegrated into pieces and fell to the ground in a heap.

Without stopping to breathe for even a second, Nathan pressed on, slaughtering fighter after fighterand slicing them into pieces.

The other fighters gasped in horror, shocked by the fact that Nathan could still move at the speed oflight even with the poison coursing through his veins.

“Stay strong!” Matteo bellowed. “The poison is working its way through his system! We just need topress on and drain his energy!”

However, Nathan and his men showed no signs of slowing down. Another two hundred fighterswent down under his blade, and out of the five hundred that showed up on the battlefield, only twohundred were left standing.

Matteo and his men stared at Nathan, wide-eyed and horrified.

The Chief Military Governor fought like the God of War, and Matteo would have rounded up histroops and retreated if Nathan had not been poisoned.

On the other hand, Nathan was finally starting to feel the effects of the poison.

As the dizziness got worse after killing another two hundred men, he began to sway on his feet. Hishands grew clammy, and the sword in his hand became heavier as time passed.

Left with no choice, he halted his attack and stuck his sword into the ground before him to conservehis strength.

Colin and the Elite Eight formed a protective circle around him, each one of them covered fromhead to toe in bruises and cuts.

Matteo smirked. “Haha! Looks like you've finally run out of strength! Don't tell me you can't even liftyour sword anymore?”

The remaining two hundred enemy fighters snarled and snapped at Nathan like feral animals themoment Matteo said that.

Matteo gripped his sword and got ready to charge, but he changed his mind at the last

second.

He turned around and looked at a giant, tanklike man from Xyperia. “Tyrant Annan! I shall give youthe honor of killing the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia as a glorious fighter of Xyperia!”

Annan had been eyeing Nathan ever since the start of the battle, and he grew even more restlessafter hearing Matteo's words.

“Alright then,” he said with a smirk. “I'll chop that stupid head of his off his neck!”

With that, he picked up an ax and charged forwards with his mates.

Nathan stood motionless with his sword in the ground and his eyes closed, and Colin and the EliteEight could not help but glance between him and Annan nervously.

“Stop the enemies and protect the Chief!” Colin shouted, only to hear Nathan's low growl frombehind.

“Don't stop them. Just protect me from the sides and the back,” Nathan said with his eyes stillclosed.
