“If an apology is enough, why do we need the police? Did I ever say apologizing to me would keep you out of the station? Mr. Hall, you’re quite presumptuous.” Gwen’s lips curled into a mocking smile, her attitude leaving Jake completely baffled.

*I was falsely accused for no reason, and you expect this to just blow over? Does her status as the Hall family’s daughter give her a free pass?”

It was precisely the repeated indulgence by the Hall family that emboldened Caitlin time and again, and Gwen wasn’t about to miss this chance to punish her. Upon hearing Gwen’s stance, Xenia immediately called the police.
