Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 731 Sean's Expectation

Julien walked over and sat next to Sydney. He extended his arm around her waist and landed a kiss on her cheek. "It's done."

"Did you smoke?" Sydney smelled tobacco on him. She frowned and reached up to push his face aside.

Julien froze. Then he lowered his head and sniffed himself, "Is the smell strong?"

"No, but I can smell it." Sydney shook her head.

Actually, the tobacco on Julien was pleasant.

But Sydney didn't like cigarettes, so she didn't like the smell.

"Why did you smoke?" Sydney asked as she poured ground coffee into the coffee pot, "Is something wrong? Are you in a bad mood? The phone call took you a long time."

Julien picked up a glass of water and took a sip. "Nothing. It's settled."

"Okay." Sydney nodded, not asking about it. She put the cap on the alcohol lamp to put out the fire. Then she poured two cups of coffee.

She handed one cup to Julien. "It's Blue Mountain coffee, the original flavor you like to drink. Taste it! It's the first time I've made coffee. I hope it's not bad."

Julien picked up his cup of coffee. The coffee has a strong aroma. Julien took a sniff of it and curled the corners of his mouth. "It smells good. I bet it tastes good. And you made it yourself. Even if it's not good, I'll drink it all."

Sydney rolled her eyes at him, "Why do you sound so slippery?"

"I mean it. I'm not lying." Julien said seriously.

Sydney shook her head with a smile, "Okay. Taste it."

Sydney then put milk and sugar in her cup of coffee.

Julien liked black coffee, while Sydney liked to put milk and sugar in her coffee. She thought black coffee was too bitter.

"How long did you talk to Hunter?" Julien suddenly asked, putting down his coffee.

He stared at Sydney as if he was questioning her.

Sydney raised her eyebrows and asked, "Why? Are you jealous?"

"I'd be jealous if you talked to him for too long." Julien didn't hide his jealousy. "You know Hunter is into you."

Sydney smiled as she stirred her coffee with a spoon, "We talked for two minutes. Are you happy?"

'Two minutes?'

Julien showed a smile at the corner of his mouth, "That's good."

Sydney touched her forehead awkwardly.

Just then, Sean came in. "Ms. Raines, Mr. Flint, it's lunch time. What would you guys like to eat? I'll make a call and have it delivered."

Sydney turned to Julien to ask his opinion. He was the guest after all. She gave him the opportunity to order the meal.

However, Julien shook his head, "I'll eat whatever you want."

Sean smiled, "Ms. Raines, Mr. Flint loves you so much. He lets you choose."

Sydney blushed. "Nonsense."

"Am I right, Mr. Flint?" said Sean, looking over at Julien.

Julien put down his coffee. He lifted his chin slightly and gave Sean an approving look. "You're right. She's my girlfriend. Of course, I love her! Her happiness is of the highest priority to me. I'm fine with anything."

Then Julien looked at Sydney, affection in his eyes.

Sydney blushed even more, and even the tips of her ears were red, which made her look stunning.

If Sean wasn't here, Julien would like to kiss her on the lips.

Thinking about it, Julien cast a cold glance at Sean.

'I wish she was gone!'

But if Sean hadn't come in and said those words, Sydney wouldn't have blushed.

Sean sensed Julien casting a cold glance at her. She was confused, 'What did I do wrong? Why is Mr. Flint glaring at me?'

Sean tilted her head. She couldn't figure it out. She turned to Sydney and asked, "Ms. Raines, what would you like to eat? Same as usual?"

After a moment's thought, Sydney nodded, "Yes, the same as usual. And order two more dishes, one steamed crab and one fried shrimp." Julien's eyes lit up, and the corners of his mouth curled. Those were all his favorite foods.

Sean responded as she pushed up her glasses, "All right, Ms. Raines. I'll order the food right away."

Then she turned around and prepared to leave.

Suddenly, Sydney thought of something and called out to Sean, "Wait a minute."

"Ms. Raines, do you want something else?" Sean stopped.

Sydney looked at Sean, "I called Luke earlier, and he asked about you."

Sean's face changed color slightly, but she quickly regained her composure. She asked, "Ms. Raines, what did Mr. Chase ask about me?" Sean clasped her hands nervously at her sides.

Luke didn't like her. After he had assigned her to work for Sydney as her secretary, he had never asked about her or cared if she liked her job there. Literally, since Luke assigned her to Skylight, it was as if he had completely forgotten about her.

Sean was surprised to know Luke asked Sydney about her. She was happy inside.

She wondered why Luke was asking about her.

'Is it because of what happened last time? Is he starting to miss me?' Sean couldn't help but guess.

Sean knew it wasn't much of a possibility, but still, she wondered.

'Isn't it true that men always think about their first woman?'

Sean had worked with Luke for so many years, so she was pretty sure she was the first woman Luke had ever slept with.

'Maybe he remembered that night and thought of me, so he asked Ms. Raines about me.'

Thinking about this, Sean felt her heart beat faster. She watched Sydney with expectant eyes.

She expected Sydney to give her a reassuring answer.

As Sean was so excited, both Sydney and Julien could see what the girl was expecting.

Sydney and Julien glanced at each other.

Julien showed little interest. He only cared about Sydney.

But Sydney sighed in her heart. She felt sorry for Sean.

"Sean," Sydney decided to tell Sean the truth. Even though she thought it was cruel, it was not good for Sean to live in her fantasy.

If Sean dwelled in her fantasy for too long, she would think it was real. But in the end, when she learned that it was all her fantasy, she would be devastated.

Therefore, Sydney decided to tell Sean the truth before she became completely lost in her fantasies.

It was better for Sean to move on sooner.

"Yes?" Hearing Sydney call her, Sean hurriedly responded.

Sydney opened her mouth, "Uh... Luke asked me if you were abnormal recently."

Immediately, Sean's face turned pale. The light of hope in her heart instantly went out. She felt so cold that her body stiffened. After quite a while, she said, "Is that all Mr. Chase asked?" "Yes." Sydney nodded.

Sean clenched her hands tighter. "What did Mr. Chase mean by 'abnormal'?"

'Did he hear that I've been vomiting a lot lately and that he guessed I might be pregnant, so he asked Ms. Raines about it?'
