It was the girl in the bathroom, the woman he had been waiting for a long time, the same young woman he had met in the men’s room. Well, coincidences apparently did exist. And look at the one he got.

-Why didn’t he tell me at our unusual meeting that she was the girl he was waiting for from the boutique?

-Why did he drag me into the bathroom cubicle so suddenly?

-Did she want the other men to see her in the bathroom?

-I wasn’t doing anything wrong.

-It was the men’s room, and you were alone with me.

Olivia feels her cheeks burn, hell, she couldn’t stay in that situation with that man. She tries to compose herself by looking away.

-We weren’t doing anything wrong, until you locked me in that cubicle,” she looks at him out of the corner of her eye.

She was a somewhat arrogant young woman, despite being quite flushed. It was clear that she was embarrassed to talk about it.

-What was she doing in the men’s room? Was she looking for someone?

-I was mistaken, that was all.

-Who could be mistaken about something like that? I’m sorry, but I really don’t understand.

-Well, I do.

-Why? Is she sick to her stomach? -She widens her eyes, becoming even more embarrassed.

-Of course not! -She looks at him as if he’s gone crazy. It wasn’t for that reason that I went into that bathroom. She felt so ridiculous.

-So, if you see, there is a reason.

Olivia half-opens her lips, he was very… he was just trying to get a confession out of her. He was very cunning, he had to measure his words very well for the next one.

-I’m not here to talk about the confusion in the bathroom, but about this garment,” she shows the garment with difficulty. Caleb looks at the dress, it seemed a bit strange.

-What happened to that dress?

-Nothing, no, no, no… it’s fine.

-Really? -he asks, raising an eyebrow. In that case, why don’t you show it to me, I want to check what the problem is with that garment. They’ve made such a fuss over a wine stain,” Caleb stands up and walks around the desk.

Ouch, no, please, stay seated. for god’s sake don’t get up, you’ll make me faint if you come near.

Olivia mutters as she watches that prominent man approach her, her legs were already jelly, and her nerves were reaching their limit.

-It’s a little man… -She looks up and reconnects her eyes with the man’s. -Spot.

-Oh, yeah? -Caleb takes the dress, but without taking his eyes off her. We’ll see.

The CEO spreads the garment down and notices something very important, he didn’t remember it being so wrinkled, and to tell the truth, very badly treated. Something had happened to that dress. So, he looked at the young woman in front of him and judging by her panicked expression, he knew she kept a little secret.

-Tell me something, what have you done to this dress?

-What?

-You think, because I’m a man, I wouldn’t notice that the dress has more than just a tiny wine stain on it.

No can be! I hope that at least he didn’t notice those details, but this man is scary too.

-What… what’s wrong with the dress?

-When I bought it, it wasn’t like this, tell me, what have you done to it? -She looks at it.

And on top of me, blame me for the damn dress this done shit, yes it was your stupid fault that it fell me into the toilet.

Olivia felt she couldn’t let him put all the blame on her, anyway, when she got to her job she would most likely be fired. However, just because she said a few words to that guy didn’t mean anything. She would never see him again anyway.

-Well, the dress is like that because of him,” she answers with such insolence that it surprises Caleb. She was staring at him, without a hint of suspicion.

-Because of me? -What do I have to do with the dress being torn to shreds, as far as I know, you’re responsible for it, aren’t you? -If she thought she was going to intimidate him with her 5’5″, she was very wrong.

-If he hadn’t pushed me in the bathroom, none of this would have happened. So yes, it’s all her fault,” Olivia suddenly made a gesture with her lips that made Caleb’s cold heart flinch.

-As far as I remember, at no time did I see her holding that dress in her hands.

-Because it was in the bag,” she continued impertinently.

She had never had the pleasure of encountering a woman of her caliber. He wondered if she would always be like that, so proud and petulant.

-And what are you going to tell me, what did you drop in the toilet after I came out of the bathroom?

-As a matter of fact, yes, that’s what happened.

That seemed pretty sincere, Caleb thought. He unintentionally smacked his lips as he kept looking at that brunette who didn’t even have the size to talk to him in the tone she did. And what was he supposed to do now? He wasn’t interested in that dress, and paying for it wasn’t a problem for him, even if he wasn’t the one to blame for the mess he was at the moment.

But teasing her gave him some pleasure, and it was obvious that he was waiting for a response from her.

-Well, I’m not going to take care of the mess you made for the garment yourself.

-What are you saying? -She looked at him expectantly, she was horrified.

-The fact that it fell into the toilet is none of my business, I was only going to take care of a miserable wine stain. One that apparently has already faded, so I had nothing to do with this dress being ruined.

Caleb turns away from her, puts his hands in his pockets, but still holding the dress in his hand and acts impassively to the girl. He was just waiting to see her reaction, it was the first time he played that way with someone, well, with a woman. And that was strange, since he didn’t usually do it.

-Are you telling me that you don’t intend to pay for the dress?

-Indeed.

It was the last straw, after all it was all his fault. He was turning a blind eye, leaving all the responsibility to her. Never in her life could she pay such an amount of money for a dress she would never wear.

-You…” She watches as he raises one of his eyebrows, which paralyzes her intentions. Well, don’t pay anything,” Olivia snatches the garment from his hand. I apologize for the inconvenience.

He wasn’t going to let her have the pleasure of seeing her cry, he knew what awaited her when she returned to work. She had no idea how she was going to pay for that dress, but that idiot was not going to see her break down.

He was very attractive, but he was a jerk, through and through. She didn’t even understand how he thought she liked him, obviously she didn’t, let alone realizing what kind of guy he was. A jerk, for all his alluring masculinity.

Olivia turns around and tries to leave the office of the guy whose name she didn’t even know. That was the worst of it, attraction to an anonymous guy.

But then, out of nowhere, something comes up that she didn’t expect. A warm hand closed around her elbow, the rush she felt at that moment was enormous, she looked over the edge of her shoulder to see the owner of that hand.

-Where do you think you are going? -The client asked with authority.

While her damn legs were already completely jelly, her heart a ticking time bomb and the b***d coursing through her veins was so watery she thought it wouldn’t reach her brain with force.

But what? What the f**k was that?

She wonders without looking away from the eyes of that man, who by then looked like he was about six feet tall. At what point did he get so tall? And why was he still holding her like that?

-Excuse me? -She was confused, since he wouldn’t let go of her once and for all. That made her much more nervous than she already was.

-We haven’t finished talking,” he answered her in a threatening tone.
