In the afternoon, Mia stayed at Leo's place until both the old and the young woke up from their naps. She then got a call from her husband, and Molly wanted to visit her Chad, so they planned to leave together.

Anya, with Leo constantly on her mind, didn't want to go. She came up with an excuse, "Auntie, we ordered too much for lunch, and there's a lot left over. Chad can't finish it all by himself tonight, so I'll stay and help him eat." Leo just sighed, "..."

Later, Leo waved them off, "I'll take Anya home later tonight."

After they left, Leo turned to Henry, gesturing for a hug. This time, Henry played along, lifting his little arms towards Leo and leaning into him.

Sure enough, after a good nap, Henry was in a better mood and didn't cry when kissed by his brother.

Leo and Anya saw everyone off to their cars and watched as they drove away. Anya, happily linking her arm with Leo's, sweetly asked, "Chad, will I be bothering you if I stay?"

"Even if you are, you're already here. Do you think I can send you away?" He turned around, letting his girlfriend cling to his arm, and walked to the elevator, using his car keys to press the up button. Anya was always charmed by Leo's subtle actions.

Even something as simple as pressing an elevator button, when done by Chad, made her adore him more. "Chad, why did you need your car keys?"

"I was thinking of seeing them off, but then I realized the cars were all properly parked when I went downstairs."

Anya pouted, "Was it not because you wanted to take me out but realized it was too sunny outside?"

"All day out, what's so fun about that?"

Leo leaned casually against the wall in the elevator lobby, exuding a lazy elegance. He looked down at the fair arms of the girl wrapped around his.

Anya stood by Leo's side. As someone entered the elevator, she instinctively leaned closer to him.

Leo, who had always enjoyed Anya's company, asked, "Why do you always like to follow me?"

"Because I'm your girlfriend, duh."

"Even before you were my girlfriend, you liked to follow me."

Anya, quick-witted, retorted, "But you also liked to take me everywhere with you."

Leo looked at her and chuckled, acknowledging that it was indeed true.

Once they arrived at the hotel, Leo tidied the bed, "You lie down where Henry was sleeping, take a nap, and I'll clean up."

Anya washed her hands and immediately headed for the dining table, "Chad, you study, I'll clean up."

Leo grabbed Anya's wrist firmly. "You didn't sleep at noon, go take a nap."

Anya, bold as ever, demanded, "Then kiss me. If you don't kiss me, I won't listen."

Leo, still a bit naive about his girlfriend's charm, flatly refused, "... Dream on."

After saying that, he let go of Anya's hand and went to organize his study materials.

Anya, with a gleeful smile, went to the dining table, cleaning up the leftover lunch while sneaking a few bites with her chopsticks.

Leo occasionally looked at her, and by the time he was done, she had eaten another meal.

Leo turned back, watching an online class, his hand covering a smile at the corner of his mouth. For some reason, seeing Anya stuffing her cheeks with food made him feel good and want to laugh. The two of them in the room, indeed, weren't lonely.

Anya quietly went to the bathroom, wet a towel to clean the table, trying not to disturb Leo.

...

At the golf course,

Andre was getting off the golf cart, preparing to leave.

His companions laughed, "Andre, got another date?"

Andre handed his golf club to a staff member nearby, "Time to go home to my wife and son. If I'm late, Mia's calls will come one after another." Andre answered with a smile. "Looks like Mrs. Cedillo keeps a tight leash."

Andre nodded, his face radiating happiness, "Not just tight, but unreasonable too. You try reasoning with her, and she'll argue: 'Is our marriage about reasoning with each other?"" Despite talking about his wife's temper, Andre's words were filled with happiness, which everyone could feel.

"Gets you frustrated, but all you can do is indulge her. In a family, a woman's words are the law, and this law only applies at home."

Andre was entering the building when his wife's call came.

He answered with a laugh, "Hey, I'll be home soon. What do you want to eat now?"

"Honey, we're out of watermelons."

Andre replied with a chuckle, "Alright, I'll buy some on my way back."

Mia also reminded, "Get the small kind with white seeds. You can cut it in half and spoon it out. I don't want a big watermelon; it's heavy, has thick skin, and the seeds are hard." Andre indulgently agreed, "Okay, I'll buy the small watermelons you can cut and hold."

He reached the front desk, tapped on it, and whispered, "Car keys."

The front desk immediately fetched Andre's keys.

Hanging up, Andre and his friends walked out.

"Mrs. Cedillo got a craving?"

Mentioning his wife, Andre replied indulgently, "She's picky but only wants the small watermelons with white seeds."

Knowing she was visiting Leo, Andre felt lonely at home by himself, so he went out with his friends. With his wife and child returning, he too headed home.

The warmth of home is the most addictive "drug" in the world.

Andre, in the blazing summer heat, searched the streets for a fruit shop.

Molly also visited the police station, carrying a large bag of frozen drinks, handing out a bottle to each acquaintance she met.

Arriving at Chad's door, she placed the bag of drinks on a table, "We're all friends here, help yourselves, I'm done handing them out."

She then grabbed a bottle and headed to Officer Chad's office door, knocking, "Is Officer Chad in? I'd like to report something." Hearing her, Chad greeted her with a smile, "Come in to report."

Molly entered, showing her pretty face, "Officer Chad, I just lost $46 at the supermarket."

Chad took out his phone and transferred $46 instantly, "Lost anymore?"

"Not lost anymore. Officer Chad is amazing." Molly indirectly got Chad to reimburse the money she spent on water.

Watching his wife play around, Chad's eyes remained filled with amusement, "How's Leo doing?" Chad asked.

Molly replied, "He's doing well. Still a bit of a smart mouth, but you can tell he's matured a lot."

Molly started her usual rant in Chad's office, "Chad, you have no idea. Anya and Leo are dating, but there's hardly any affection between them. Leo doesn't even put his arm around Anya, and when Anya is tired, she props up her face and doesn't lean on Leo to sleep. Their relationship seems so bland and passionless.

Back when we weren't married, you were always so affectionate, hugging and holding me. I would kiss your cheek every day and cuddle with you."

Chad looked at his wife, who was leaning in, "With outsiders around, they have to maintain a certain decorum. Behind closed doors, how they interact with each other is unknown to you.

Besides, when I was making moves on you, it was also just known between the two of us."
