Before Cooper could even swallow his coffee, his eyes widened in disbelief. He forgot to blink, his face a mask of shock, wondering if he was imagining things.

"Must be the lack of sleep from last night," he thought, recalling the late-night video calls. "I'm probably just seeing things."

Henry, adorably turning his head to look at his uncle, raised his little hand and waved, "Bye-bye," fascinated by the moment. Cooper, still groggy, swallowed his coffee, hoping a few more sips would wake him up.

"Cooper!" Mia's voice rang out.

Cooper choked in surprise, spraying coffee everywhere. His classmates gasped, "Coop, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Seeing his uncle spurt coffee, Henry giggled, shaking with laughter.

"Cooper, it's 10:30! Time for our video call," Mia called again.

In that instant, Cooper felt a surge of energy shoot up from his feet to his brain, waking him up completely. He handed his documents and coffee to a classmate and sprinted towards his sister and nephew, engulfing them in a big hug, his joy childlike. "Sis, Henry, what are you doing here?"

Then, he scooped Henry into his arms, spinning him around the campus like an excited kid. Henry was caught off guard. Cooper tossed him into the air and caught him securely, making Henry burst into joyous laughter.

"Henry, my nephew, my treasure, uncle's gonna give you a big kiss. How did you get here? Uncle loves you to bits." Cooper showered kisses all over Henry's chubby face, making him blink rapidly and babble in baby talk, overwhelmed by his uncle's excitement. Soon, Cooper held his nephew up high, kissing his cheeks, making Henry giggle even more. Cooper, usually so composed, seemed to lose his cool image in front of his classmates.

"Hey, Coop, are you sure you're okay?" a classmate asked cautiously.

Like an excited fool, Cooper quickly introduced, "Justin, Sadie, this is my nephew. My sister and her husband came to visit me from back home. I don't need a video call anymore; they're here to see me."

Henry frowned, not understanding a word of the rapid English around him. The classmates looked at Cooper in awe, "Wow, Coop."

Cooper excitedly introduced his sister's family to everyone, emphasizing his adorable nephew, "My nephew is the cutest baby in the world. He's my treasure."

Seeing all the unfamiliar faces, Henry felt closest to his uncle, at least they looked like they came from the same place.

After the introductions, Cooper spotted his foreign language teacher from afar, "Hey, Sam, my nephew is here."

He rushed over to show off his nephew. "Kenny, this is my nephew."

In a short while, Henry became the talk of Cooper's circle of friends. The teachers, more fascinated by Henry's father, approached Cooper with admiration. Sam extended his hand, "Mr. Andre, nice to meet you. I'm Sam, your student's lab teacher. I've always admired you. May I take a photo with you?"

Andre shook hands, "Nice to meet you. We'll have more opportunities to meet since my brother is a student here."

Hearing the possibility of taking a photo, classmates tidied up, hoping for a picture too. To avoid complications, Andre declined, noting he was just a businessman, not a celebrity accustomed to signing autographs and taking pictures, which would be an exaggeration. Mia took a moment to grasp the exchange between them. "Honey, let's go, our son is missing."

Cooper was nowhere to be seen, likely showing off somewhere. After a polite farewell, the couple found their son in the music society, his face red and neck stiff from crying.

Cooper rescheduled his afternoon discussion for the evening, online, to spend time with his nephew. In the morning, the family visited Cooper's place. Initially, when Cooper was younger, Aaron Madison decided it was best for his son to board with another family. After a while, Cooper, feeling out of place, insisted on living alone and went house-hunting at a tender age.

Aaron Madison even traveled abroad to purchase a small villa for his son and hired a housekeeper for him. However, Cooper felt lonely in the spacious villa, often hosting parties with friends, and following a rebellious phase, he returned home to replace his sister married. That day, his brother-in-law had a long talk with him, and upon returning, Cooper immediately rented out the villa, choosing to live in a studio apartment instead.

Walking to Cooper's apartment, they couldn't help but cherish the scenic views along the road, memorizing the route back to his place. Choosing to walk instead of drive, they held the child close.

Arriving at Cooper's studio apartment, they found a tidy space of about forty square meters. "Sis, brother-in-law, make yourselves comfortable. There's a water dispenser if you're thirsty, help yourselves. I won't stand on ceremony; I'm going to hold my nephew," Cooper said, bypassing introductions to shower his nephew with kisses.

The child, overwhelmed by the affection, cried in discomfort. Mia inspected the place, checking the bathroom, the kitchen stove, the cupboards for spices, and the fridge, "Why is there only alcohol here? You're too young. I haven't even drunk alcohol; replace these with water."

Cooper didn't hear her. "Henry, how can you be so adorable? The best thing my sister ever did for me was giving birth to you, my nephew."

As the child's cries grew louder, Andre calmly stepped in, taking his son. "Cooper, why haven't you secured your balcony? It's not safe. I'll have someone from the office install a railing this afternoon."

"Bro, my place is on the 16th floor, who could possibly climb up here? No need for any extra security. Watching the sunset from here is especially nice. Sometimes, I just dine alone while enjoying the sunset."

Mia's heart ached at the thought, dining alone, an isolation she couldn't bear. "Listen to your brother-in-law. Your fridge is stocked with nothing but wine. What if one day you get drunk and accidentally, 'splat', that's it." Cooper: "Oh, come off it, don't jinx me."

He then wanted to go cuddle the child again. Henry, being quick-witted, saw his uncle reaching out to hold him and immediately turned around, clinging tightly to his dad, not letting anyone take him away.
