The bed was empty, not a soul in sight. Andre immediately dashed out, searching the bathroom for the missing duo but came up empty. His drowsiness vanished in an instant. He hurried back to the bedroom and grabbed his phone to call his brother-in-law. At the campus.

"Henry, don't try to snatch food from your uncle's mouth. You can't have any; this is your uncle's breakfast. Don't pout. Oh, come on, don't grab, stop, stop."

Cooper was struggling to manage the little one. Holding the child for a short while was manageable, but over time, he was getting overwhelmed. His phone rang, and Cooper, with his face tilted upwards, quickly chewed and swallowed his sandwich. A little chubby hand was still tugging at his mouth, "Uncle, your phone is ringing."

That morning, after asking for leave, he had planned to take his nephew back to the hotel. But his vanity got the better of him, and he ended up parading Henry around, showing off his adorable nephew to acquaintances from afar. Eventually, he got hungry and decided to grab two breakfasts to go, one for his sister and brother-in-law and one to eat on the way.

And then it hit him! Those without kids don't realize you can't just eat in front of them. So, there he was, holding the child in one arm, a takeaway bag slung over the other, stretching his neck to munch on his breakfast. Henry, red-faced with envy at first, lunged to gnaw directly at his uncle's mouth. Then, attempting to snatch the food with his little hands and failing, he tried to grab his uncle's breakfast, managing to get a bit of a cheese croissant and eagerly shoving it into his mouth.

Not being allowed to eat, Henry started bawling uncontrollably on the street, his little mouth quivering, filling the quiet campus with his cries of injustice. As the child cried and the phone rang, Henry, unable to stand and still holding a partially eaten croissant, made Cooper realize the exhaustion of childcare. He jogged to a trash bin to dispose of his uneaten burger. Then he moved to a nearby bench, fishing out his phone from his pocket with one hand while Henry's tears and drool smeared his uncle's face, the little one's sobs sounding oddly melodious.

By the third call from Andre, Cooper finally answered, "Hello, brother-in-law, save me."

Half an hour later, the couple arrived at the school. Henry, sitting on his uncle's lap holding a snack wrapper and gnawing on it, was distracted by his uncle's phone, watching a video of himself crying from the night before. "Henry," Andre called out. Upon seeing his dad, Henry immediately threw away the snack wrapper and reached out, crying for his father.

"How did you end up running away with your uncle this morning? Normally, you'd be making a fuss, but today my little 'sparrow' was so quiet." Mia, having just woken up, ran out without even washing her face. Henry collapsed against his dad's neck, sobbing. Cooper handed over the breakfast to his sister and brother-in-law. Then, they all headed back to the hotel.

"Sis, brother-in-law, I took some time off." Learning that Cooper had taken a short leave to spend time with the family, Mia's temper flared, and she threw the child aside to start scolding her brother at the hotel. "We came to visit you, and you dare neglect your studies? You're going back to class this afternoon."

Mia, hurting from the scolding, Andre feeling sympathetic, and Cooper aching from the beating. Only Henry, preferring to miss out on milk rather than the spectacle of his mother in action. The hotel was abuzz with activity for a while.

In the afternoon, Cooper was escorted to school under his sister's firm grip, looking like a convict. His classmates greeted him, "Weren't you on leave?" Mia then forcefully seated him in the front row, "Sit here and study hard, I'm going out to have fun." Her fierce demeanor was noted by his classmates.

Cooper: "Are you even human?" Mia slapped his shoulder, "Say that again?" Cooper winced, "What kind of sister acts like a shrew?" Mia punched his other shoulder, "This is the unique love of a sister, be grateful. Others don't have what you have."

"Who in their right mind would want you as a...ow, sis, can you stop? I need to study," Cooper capitulated under his sister's fists. Mia, puffing up her cheeks adorably similar to her son, stood there, her ferocity looking anything but scary. "Send me your class schedule. What time do you finish? I'll pick you up." Cooper: "Can you even understand it with your level of English?" Mia, brimming with confidence and bravado, declared, "Do you think my husband only knows how to make money?" Cooper, impressed by his sister's statement, "Then I'll send the schedule to my brother-in-law."

Mia, addicted to smacking, landed another hit on her brother, "You send it to your brother-in-law, and he'll have to show me." Soon after, Mia finished her business, clapped her hands contentedly, and left her brother's lecture hall with a spring in her step. Cooper couldn't understand why girls would learn anything but Taekwondo. He waited for his sister to leave before sneaking back to the last row with his books.

Surrounded by international students, none could understand the sibling's exchange, but some boys were charmed by the cute girl they had just seen. "Hey, Cooper, what's your relationship with the girl just now? Our club has a dance tonight, you could invite her to join," a dark-browed man beside him initiated a conversation.

Cooper turned around, wary, "Levi, what are you up to?" "She's from which department? She's so cute and beautiful, very attractive to me." Soon, another student from Spain tapped Cooper's shoulder, "I feel the same. Such a beautiful girl, I think I can't forget her. I'd like to pursue her with Levi. Cooper, please help us out."

The students thought Mia was a foreign exchange student from some department, all eager to replace her. Cooper turned to look at them, incredulous, "Are you sure? She has a tendency for violence!" "A girl, even if she hits, it's cute and charming; instead, I'm now looking forward to her hitting me. I think I might be sick," Levi said. Cooper chuckled coldly, mocking in his native tongue, "I thought she was only considered beautiful in our country, but it turns out foreigners like her looks too."

Before the explanation could begin, the senior professor entered the classroom. Upon seeing Cooper, he immediately greeted him with warmth, asking, "Hey, where's the little baby?" Cooper replied, "His folks took him back." The disappointment was evident on the professor's face. "That's such a shame. I really liked that little crybaby."
