Eloise wasn't replaceing the humor in it anymore. Her defense of Jenny was clear to anyone. When Freya accused them of fabricating stories and setting traps, it aimed at Eloise.

"Jokes or not, Jenny has said it, and such talk isn't great for the principal's reputation. Let's hope today's incident was only a misunderstanding. But if it were intentional bullying, I'm afraid someone might follow Mae's unfortunate path. With graduation exams around the corner, this won't look good for the principal or Summit University, right, Principal?"

Freya's message was clear. They had to back down, or Jenny could end up behind bars.

With no choice, Eloise turned to the principal and said, "Principal, with graduation exams nearly upon us, I believe it's time to resolve conflicts. Consider this water under the bridge as if we were never here. I'll ensure Jenny apologizes to Ms. Dawson." It was an indirect admission from Eloise that Jenny had targeted Freya.
