He felt like crap after treating Violet like that, but it was the only way he knew how to get her off his back. Everything he had told her was a lie, well partly, but he was counting on her to come to her senses once and for all and think things through, they couldn't be together, but deep inside he did want to be with her, but theirs was forbidden, Demian Morgan would never leave them alone.

He leaned back from the taxi seat, feeling tired of it all. And he hadn't even finished dealing with the little detail of Emma's arrival, that woman was more trouble than Violet herself. She was taking her back to her past and he was not prepared to tolerate that, for that reason he needed to know what she had come for and then send her back where she came from.

After a few minutes Dylan's taxi parked a few blocks away from his building, according to the driver the streets were closed due to the amount of deaths that had occurred as a result of the shooting between mafias. So the boy had to walk home... by the time he got to his flat he found it just as it was, the street was a complete mess full of police and yellow gangs, but at least his house wasn't being investigated and that was a relief not to be involved.

He immediately resorted to taking a bath, it was imperative that he took off all those bloodstained and dirty clothes... While he was taking that bath his thoughts were on Violeta, hell, that woman was driving him crazy. No matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't get her out of his mind.

-She's forbidden, Dylan. Why is it so hard for you to accept that? -To be with her would be like declaring your own death, and you know the reasons why.

After a well-deserved shower, he thinks it's time to take a well-deserved rest. Some sleep would do him good, and he needed it, since he hadn't had any for several days... after that, he would return to the university the next day and resume his activities as if nothing had happened. After all, he was not involved in any conflict.

Dylan laid his completely naked and somewhat damp body on the bed and immediately a flood of sleep came over him. He was really, really exhausted. So he closed his eyes and in a matter of seconds he was completely asleep.

[...]

Dylan was watched as he slept soundly in his room, the nakedness of his body more than evident to the person scrutinizing him.

He slept like he had never slept before in his life, he didn't know if it was because he was so tired, but the truth is that he didn't have the slightest intention of getting up until... Dylan woke up abruptly feeling that something wasn't right at all. Opening his eyes he notices a figure in the shadows.

-What are you doing here, Emma, I told you to leave," he says.

-I've come because I need an explanation." The girl steps out of the shadows just as Dylan turns on the light of the lamp.

-There's nothing to explain," he answers deadly serious.

-Who is that woman? -He asks, scrutinising him thoroughly.

-It's no one," he replies, standing up to take the towel and cover his body, "I want you to leave my house, I didn't invite you in," the boy asks, trying to leave the room.

-I am your fiancée, how can you talk to me like that? -He answers, which makes him stop.

Hearing that sentence, Dylan frowns. It bothered him that Emma would take such liberties when talking to him. He turns his body so he can look at her. -Fiancée? Are you really saying that?

-Yes, I still am, even if you don't want to accept it.

-That's not what you made me think when you gave me back the ring I gave you, and then I saw you hooking up with another guy a month after we broke up. -It was a different time, Dylan," she walks towards him. I was too young to get married, but it's all different now. I know I love you and I want to be with you. -What did you come here for? -He crosses his arms, nothing he said made sense to him. -Come back Dylan...

The long hours Liam spent in the operating room were nerve-wracking for all the Morgans, starting with his wife, who kept pacing the waiting room. Violet watched her sister feeling more and more guilty, if her brother-in-law died she would carry that burden for the rest of her life. And all for following Dylan, if she hadn't defied her father all this wouldn't have happened.

-What's taking them so long in there? -Lucia asks.

-Don't worry daughter, these things take time. Liam will be fine, you know he's very strong.

-Yes, a bad wound never dies," Daniels argues with his arms crossed.

-Daniels, your comments don't help anything. You'd better shut up," his wife scolds him.

Demian kept a stern expression, and could only stare at his daughter, who kept her head down. He knew she felt guilty about what was happening to Liam, and for good reason. Look at her coming to defy him like that, the only thing that would provoke him was to send her to a damn convent and never get out of there. But that wouldn't do any good, especially with the character that girl had.

-What do you plan to do with Violet? -Daniels approached him, curious about his friend's next move.

-I have no idea.

-You're not thinking of sending her to a convent, are you? You know it wouldn't do any good.

-I don't have much choice.

-I don't think we should worry," Reece joins them in the conversation, receiving some uncertain looks, "I know her, after she went out after the boy when she came back her expression was different, I'm sure they won't see each other again, or well I think that guy has sent her packing.

-You're saying that son of a bitch broke my daughter's heart?

-Yes. That's what I'm saying.

Demian frowns, if that was so then he means that Violet was in love with that guy.

-Violet fell in love with that guy? -The blond whispers.

-I know her much better than all of you, and I can assure you that that girl is completely in love with that professor, however, it seems to me that she still hasn't realised her feelings," The boy narrows his eyes observing her from afar.

-That's a serious problem, Demian," Daniels looks at his partner, "Because if he's in love with her too, those two are going to want to be together as soon as they discover their feelings. And the way your daughter is, I'm sure she'll do anything to be with him. -You have to tell Violet the truth, father. She needs to know before it's too late.

Morgan puts his hands in his pockets, thinking about what the hell to do with his daughter and the seriousness of the matter. He needed a damn drink and a cigarette. Of all his daughters, Violet has given him the most headaches. -Perhaps we should go for a drink," suggests the blond.

Suddenly the doctor in the company of a nurse comes out of the operating room where Liam was being held. The waiting corridor was full of Liam's relatives, there were so many people with their eyes on him waiting for news, that the doctor didn't know who to

turn to.
