My gaze went back to Edward, he looked devilishly handsome in jeans and a white shirt.

"You came here, and didn't tell me, a little rude," He said with a frown, his tone wasn't cold.

"I didn't come here for you, Edward," I retorted.

"Well, an Alpha from another pack can't enter another territory without talking to the Alpha first," he said, approaching me.

"Do you want to upset me right now, besides, I'm the Luna of Golden Stone pack,"

A smile forms on his mouth watering lips," So, you admit you're still the Luna of my pack?" He watched me with a glimmer of amusement and I rolled my eyes, wanting to go back to the car but he held my hand and pulled me to him. "Did you learn what you wanted to?"

"Yes," "And?"

"My anger for you is now tenfold," I answered and laughed humorlessly. "I was your Luna for months and I can't believe you didn't know it wasn't me," I hit his chest so hard that my hands hurt. I didn't care that we were being watched at this moment. What was more upsetting than someone stealing my identity was that my mate didn't know me.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE!" I growled at him. I was so f*****g frustrated and roset with him. How could he not know? Candace didn't even know me well to play as me. My baby kicked in my stomach and I gripped his arm instinctively, letting out a grunt. I bit my lips as I waited for it to pass and he caressed my face.

"Are you alright?" He asked, distressed.

"Wow, and you are as active as ever, impressive. We need to leave so that you can rest," She said and I nodded. My mate was tense, not knowing what to say or do.

"I think you should stay at my house until you're fully okay," Edward offered.

"Yes, she needs to rest and who knows, that pup might be here sooner than expected," Evelyn giggled and I gave her a side glare.

"Cali, you're not okay," She said firmly. I groaned but nodded my agreement.

Edward snaked his arms around me and I stared into his eyes, my heart pounding in my chest. He helped me in the car and Vince drove us to the manor. We reached there and it was as stunning and extravagant as ever. Love was already waiting at the entry alongside all the servants and Edward's siblings. I stepped out of the car with Vince's help, I was startled by how gentle he was with me. My mate was by my side within a second and smiled at me, making my stomach drop, "Welcome back home,"

"This is not my house," I snarled and he frowned slightly. Love ran to me and I kissed her.

"Welcome home!" She cheered.

"Thank you, my love," I beamed and she ran to Ellis, hugging him happily and taking him away. I moved past Edward and smiled at the servants who greeted me with glee. All bowing their heads, however, I noticed Juanita wasn't there. "Where's Juanita," I asked Lena.

"Luna, um, she was transferred to the packhouse after your return... I meant after Candace did, I don't even know what to say," He chuckled nervously and I only nodded at her. I sighed and faced the brothers, they didn't meet my eyes, and remorse was written on their faces. It was silent for a while, they were unnerving,

"I'm angry at you, all of you," I said and they exhaled, smiling.

"As you should, replace it in your heart to forgive us," Jamal kissed my cheek and stroked my hair.

"In our defense, she was a good actress, also, we didn't spend enough time with her," Marcus said, caressing and then pinching my cheek sweetly. I frowned at that action but didn't pull away, he was showing his affection toward me,

"I am happy to have the real you back," He said with a smile. Marcos stepped forward,

"Not to make any excuses but I knew in my heart that something was wrong but the resemblance was uncanny to even question it out loud," The youngest brother hugged me. Garret had nothing to say other than ask for forgiveness over and over as he embraced me, careful not to crush me.

"Fine! I'll learn to live with this treachery and try to forgive you but you have to work for it," I joked and they nodded.

My heart thumped against my chest when my mate held my lower back, his touch wasn't firm though.

They congratulated us on the pregnancy and we entered the house. Evelyn and Vince looked happy to be here. I shook my head. I was tired and needed to rest, so I went upstairs to my former room. It was all white and neat, no one has used it since I left. The door opened and Edward walked in," Are you alright?"

I narrowed my eyes and answered with gritted teeth," Yes,"

"I'm sorry, Caliana, I will give you all the time you need but I won't let you leave,"

"What the f**k, Edward, you can't keep me here,"

"I am your fated mate, husband, and the father of your child," He said seriously. I wheezed and crossed my arms.

"You betrayed me and you think you have the right to supervise me?"

"I was deceived, and -"

"Get out, I don't want to see you," I ordered but he didn't oblige, instead, his hand raised to touch my stomach and bent down to kiss it. A smile made its way to my face.
