After the ceremony the guests were led to a great hall where everyonewas served dinner and a great buffet like no other was prepared withdesserts like she had never seen before in her life. Everyone was happy.The pack members were dancing, the well-wishers came to bring giftsand greet the new king and his bride-to-be. “I didn't know you werethis rich. There are parts of this place that I never knew existed.” Lunasaid to Luca while they ate. He smiled at her and said, “Well after we'remarried then it will all be yours as well. Then I can give you a tour.”Luca got up from the table and extended his hand to Luna. “May I havethis dance?” She gladly took his hand and followed him to the dancefloor. “I never got the chance to dance with you at the ball.” Hewhispered, but as he did, she felt hot all over and asked him to take heraway from the dance floor as she wasn't feeling well.

He took her to sit and have a drink of water, but her headache gotworse. He scooped her up and took her home. He called for the oldlady as she was good with medicines. Luna told Luca about her abilitiesthen and while she was doing so the old lady entered with Luca'sgrandfather. This confirmed their suspicions that she was one of thechildren of the goddess. “That is why you called me goddess earlier. Mygrandmother was like me, but My uncle says that I am stronger thanher. I apparently have more abilities.”

Luna was getting an image in her head. “Luca I can see Lydia. I can seeher. She's in a cabin in the woods near Attica college. It looks old andabandoned but there is a passage, and it has an underground. That iswhere she’s been hiding.” Luca looked at Luna quite surprised at whatshe had just told them. The old lady said that she had the sight. Like anoracle. “A gift from the gods.”

Luca looked at Luna and waited until she settled. She came to hersenses. “I was only able to see her when you reminded me of the ball. Itwas the last time that I was happy with my uncle. It was also the nightthat she started all this. The image is gone. It was as if I was right there.I could smell her but she couldn't see me. She has some traps aroundthe hut but when we go I can disarm them.”

“What do you mean when we go. You're not going anywhere. Thiswoman Killed your uncle and tried to kill us. You're not going anywhere.Just point me in the right direction. I will not put you at risk again.”Luca left and called a meeting with his heads and did not include her.She however was able to hear everything discussed in the meeting. Herabilities had intensified since she got close to Luca. Her hearing wasbetter. She could now control the elements. She went to the roomwhere the meeting was held and interrupted it. “Luca, I need to talk toyou with your granddad and the Old lady, Please.”

He ended the meeting and the four remained in the room. Lunaopened her hands and brought forth fire and water. She also told themeverything that she'd heard them discussing in the meeting. She toldthem that her abilities got stronger when she and Luca got closer. Theold king marveled at this news. “The prophecy has been fulfilled. Thegoddess has found her soulmate. They must be married at the soonest.That is the only way that all this will end. They need to replace this witchtogether and they are more powerful together.” The old lady said

The old King agreed. “Your uncle had told us about his family, aboutyour grandmother and her ancestors before her. He confided in us afteryour abilities emerged. Which is why we were so happy that Luca andyou were mated. Luca wanted to keep it quiet since you were new to allthis. We are so sorry that you had to go through all this. Your uncle leftyou in our care in case anything was to happen to you.” He explained.“How long have you known about this?” She asked.

“Your uncle brought an old scroll that had been passed down fromgeneration to generation in your family. He was unable to make senseof it so he brought it to us. And the girl spoken about in the scroll isyou. It says that you were separated from your love in a meadow in apast life and only when you found each other again will the great warbe averted.” The old lady explained.

"I recognize this,” she said as she looked at the scroll. “I had a dreamabout Luca and me under a tree in a meadow under the full moon. Ithink that's when she lost him, but I woke up. My abilities started toemerge that night at the ball when I saw you with Nina. I was upset andthey emerged. I couldn't control it. But they got stronger after you toldme that you loved me, Luca.”

Luca's grandfather interrupted. “Luca, how do you feel since you metLuna. Has anything changed?” Luca replied “I have been feeling a lotstronger and faster. Nothing else.” The old lady kept insisting that Lunaand Luca would become stronger after they were one. She wantedthem to be married at the soonest and the old king agreed. Thewedding was discussed, and he sent word that they would marry in twodays. Luna could now know where Lydia was, and they could replace her atany time. They now had an advantage. All this would come to an endsoon.
