True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1946 The Four Children Of The Jones Family, Gary Smith (Part 721)
Ernest took a deep breath, his pupils contracted sharply.
At first, he did not think about doing anything at that hour. However, Leah's behavior made him want to do a little something.
Ernest raised his eyebrows and asked, "Are you sure?"
Leah blinked, pretending to be dumb, and asked, "Sure of what?"
"Are you sure you want me to sleep together with you?" Ernest said laughingly, his voice hoarse.
Leah nodded with a serious expression. "Of course. I am sure, I just want to take a short nap."
She deliberately emphasized the word 'short'.
Ernest's smile widened and an ambiguous atmosphere filled the room.
He approached Leah, a look that was far from innocent appeared on his face.
Upon seeing his enthusiasm, Leah was a little stunned.
However, she did not say anything and only smiled back at Ernest.
Ernest stared at her deeply for a few seconds. After that, he carried her and placed her on the bed before he pounced on top of her.
Leah's squeals gradually faded away as Ernest's lips covered her lips.
The morning was then doomed to be a busy one. There was no one there to disturb them and they did not have to worry about soundproofing. After they were done, they slept for two hours straight. Just like that, their trip to the mountain villa was delayed to the evening.
When Ernest and Leah drove to the mountain villa, it was already dinner time.
At first, Leah felt embarrassed. After all, they were so late.
Who would have thought that by the time they arrived, Celeste and Gary were still resting in their rooms. According to the butler, they were still having their afternoon nap.
Leah was a little dumbfounded. She couldn't help but blurt out, "Don't you think that they have napped for too long?"
The sun had already set!
The butler's lips twitched when he heard her casual words, but he did not say anything.
Ernest glanced at the butler calmly and said, "Has Gary and Celeste been staying in their room ever since they arrived?"
"Well, Master Gary and Ms. Celeste chose their room first after coming over. Then they went out for a walk before coming back for lunch at around 12:30 in the afternoon. After that, they said that they were going back to their room for an afternoon nap. They haven't come out since."
After hearing that, Ernest opened his mouth but no words came out. He was left speechless.
Leah shrugged.
"What should we do now?" Leah asked Ernest.
Ernest thought for a while and said, "Let's choose a room first. There are a lot of guest rooms here to choose from."
Leah thought about what happened the night before and could not help but take a deep breath. Then she told Ernest, "It doesn't matter where we are, let's just stay away from Gary and Celeste so we won't bother each other."
Ernest immediately understood what she meant. He smiled at Leah and turned to look at the butler. "Butler, did you hear that? According to my girlfriend's requirements, we would like to stay in a room far from theirs."
The butler immediately said, "Ahem, Master Gary seemed to have predicted earlier that you and Miss Winston would definitely choose the room farthest from theirs, so he recommended the room on the other end of the corridor for you and Miss Winston."
"Is that so?" Ernest frowned.
Leah exclaimed, "Oh, I did not expect Gary to be so smart. Where is their room?"
"Master Gary and Miss Celeste are on the third floor, in the first room on the right," replied the butler.
"Then according to their recommendation, our room should be the first on the left, which is also the last room from the right?" Leah asked.
"Yes, Miss Winston." The butler smiled and then looked at Ernest ingratiatingly. "But Master Ernest, if you don't like this room, you can choose another one."
Leah thought for a moment and said, "I don't think we have to stay on the third floor."
The butler was stunned. His face twitched in response but he kept quiet. In short, his reaction was extremely strange.
When Leah saw the butler's expressions, she could not help but ask, "Uh, why are you looking at me like that?"
"Miss Winston, you just said that you don't have to stay on the third floor. I was a little surprised because Master Gary predicted that you would pick another floor. Master Gary is really something. He guessed so accurately," the butler reported truthfully.
Leah did not know what to say after that.
She did not expect Gary to be able to read her mind. It was all too unbelievable.
She hated dealing with overly smart people. With just one wrong move, she might become a chess piece in their game.
Leah decided to throw this problem over to her boyfriend, "Ernest, why don't you choose. I will stay in whichever room that you pick."
She was completely lost right now. She did not want Gary to read her mind, so she decided to toss the problem to Ernest.
"We'll pick the second room to the right," Ernest said lightly.
The butler was not only one who was stunned, Leah was too.
The second room to the right? It was the room that was right next to Gary and Celeste's.
Leah looked at him suspiciously.
However, Ernest only smiled faintly in response, not taking it seriously at all.
Leah saw how confident he was, so she did not say anything else.
When the butler heard the command, he immediately nodded and said, "Okay, then I will tidy up that room for you now."
By the time the butler went upstairs to clean up the room, Leah finally found a chance to ask Ernest in a low voice, "Didn't we agree to stay further from them? Why are we going to stay next to them again?" "To catch them by surprise." Ernest smiled wickedly and said, "I don't like it when he guesses my thoughts, so I am going to choose to stay right next to him. That way, he will definitely feel uncomfortable." Leah was dumbfounded at Ernest's thought process. However, she roughly understood what Ernest meant.
"I hope it is what you think it is."
"Let's wait and see." Ernest smiled and said, "If my guess is correct, Gary and Celeste will be the ones to change rooms, not us."
"Are you saying that Gary and Celeste might change their rooms just because we chose to be neighbors with them?" Leah asked him curiously.
Ernest nodded. "That's right. If I am not mistaken, that will happen." "Oh." Leah laughed too as felt that it was quite ridiculous.
"Do you have no confidence in them? Or are you not confident in me?" Ernest did not like it when she was in that mood, so could not help but ask. "Of course, I am quite confident in you. Forget it, I choose to believe in you," Leah said with a smile.
