True Love -
(Book 3) – Chapter 125
Maya noticed that her boyfriend was a little strange that night when she got back to the flat. She didn’t understand what was going on with him, as far as she could tell dinner had gone very well. Old Dubois was getting along better with her and Zoé….
She was a little unsure whether to ask him if everything was all right, or if something was wrong. So she opted to keep quiet. They said goodbye to their friends, and continued on home. But once inside her home the blond seemed a little nervous.
She was feeling scared, because she always suspected that at some point Adrien would get tired of her and end the relationship. He could do it, she had been a stripper. He’d met her in a bar, and just because her friend was doing well in their relationship didn’t mean she was doing well too.
And that was why she had to settle the matter once and for all, if Adrien didn’t want anything to do with her, it was better to address the issue once and for all.
-Adrien, is something wrong? she asked biting her l*p.
-No.” He said seriously.
-It’s just that I feel you’re a bit serious, are you upset about something?
-No. -Where do you get that from?
-Come on! You’ve been serious all the way back, something must be wrong with you.
-Well if there is something wrong with me. Something with you.
The girl’s legs began to tremble, her heart began to pound like crazy and her mind was already imagining her packing all her clothes that night.
-What about? he asks in a whisper.
-About our relationship. He says, taking two steps towards her.
-Is something wrong? She asks with tears in her eyes.
-Wrong? Baby, no. He says, wrapping his arms around her. -On the contrary, my love, it’s very good.
-What? What are you talking about? She lets him wrap his arms around her.
-Baby, will you be my wife?
The brunette blinks repeatedly… she still can’t get out of her stupor. Marriage? Married? Was she really talking?
-Love, what do you say? the blond insisted.
-I… I… I… yes, yes, yes, I want to. She says jumping on him with an open smile on her lips.
Two months later…
Her lips were delicately made up, a pale pink… her hair had been pulled back in a high bun leaving a few curly locks loose on the sides.
-Zoe! Hurry up, you’re too slow.
-I’m doing my best, you can try to calm down.
-I’m getting married, how can I calm down?
-Calm down! Her friend scolds her.
She goes about her business of fixing her up, as soon as she was ready it was time to put on her dress. Her friend wasn’t fancy, so her dress was very simple. Fitted and tailored to her figure.
As soon as Maya was ready, she admired her figure in the mirror… feeling satisfied with the result she smiled. She turned to see her friend who was looking at her with watery eyes. Immediately the friends hugged each other trying not to shed too many tears and ruin the make-up.
-It’s time to go. The brunette says to her.
-I feel like I’m going to faint.
-Well, try not to let that happen.
-I have no idea how the f**k to do that. I have no idea how the f**k you did it.
-My marriage wasn’t based on love back then, yours is. -Come on! It’s about time.
The friends left the room, the wedding was to be held at Antonie’s house. Although the old man had changed, he was still bossy. And he imposed that the wedding should take place in the house, because he wanted the wedding of his two sons to take place in his mansion.
And so it had been… neither Maya nor Adrien had had a chance to protest, they had just accepted.
The brunette stood before a crowd of people. Thinking she already knew what her friend felt when she had walked down that same flower-covered aisle. The girl began to walk with her nerves on edge.
Until she finally caught up with her fiancé at the altar… he smiled at her and she smiled back. She took her fiancé’s outstretched hand to pull her closer to him.
-You are so beautiful. whispered the blond. – I’ve told you that I love you.
-Not today!
-Well, I love you.
-And I love you.
The ceremony began and the couple strengthened their grip on each other’s hands… they listened to their father with great attention.
After a few hours, the bride and groom and their guests were at the wedding celebration, which was radiant. At that moment, the bride and groom were making their dance entrance and were the centre of attention of all present.
-Are you happy?
-Very happy! Smiles the bride.
-I’m happy too, I’m glad I met you Zoe.
-If you hadn’t been a playboy, you wouldn’t have come to that bar.
-Indeed!
-Well, you’re married now, so don’t you dare visit any more of those joints.
-I promise you baby!
As soon as the party was over, and the bride and groom took refuge in the bedroom of his father’s house… they couldn’t go on their honeymoon that night. But they would the next day.
Once locked in the bedroom, the blond wrapped his wife in his arms. All at once he attacked her bare neck with hot, wet k****s.
-I was crazy to have you all to myself.
-Oh Adrien! And me.
-I wanted that damn party to be over, I couldn’t wait to make love to you.
-Tomorrow is our honeymoon, we’ll have plenty of time.
-Yes, but I want you now.
Little by little, the blond slowly unzips his wife’s dress while kissing the bare skin of her neck…
-Tonight I won’t let you sleep, my beautiful brunette.
-I hope so! She smiles as she feels her husband’s mouth on her breast. -I hope so. He stresses through a gasp.
-Get ready, my love. Because I’m not going to be gentle with you.
She smiles, hugging her husband in a tender way, she was so in love with this blond, he was the best thing that could have happened in her life.
