Waited For The Luna -
Chapter 59
“Luka, you’re drunk.” Ellie tried pulling me up.
“I’m not, Ellie. I’m just tired. Just leave me alone.” I pushed her off.
“You’re not like this Luka. You used to be fun.” She said.
“That was a long time ago. I grew up. I’m even a dad now” I replied. Ellie was a huge part of my early years. She used to be my ride or die but for most of the wrong reasons. I can’t even remember the times I used to look at Ellie with love.
“Remember the times we used to sneak out. You always loved those. The ecstasy and the thrill of making love in public.” She haughtily said.
“I don’t want to remember.”
“Is it because of her?” She said staring at me. “I know we’re over, but I have to admit I’m still in love with you Luka.” She whispered. My expression was blank. She then cupped my cheeks in her hands.
“I’ll take care of you, Luka. Let me do it. I know I can’t replace her but can you please replace it in your heart to love me again.” Ellie was crying.
“I made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I may not be as smart and as loving as her but I’m trying every day. I love Comet and he already sees me as his mother.”
I took both her hands away and angrily stared at her. “You better leave Ellie. I have no time for you.”
“Give yourself a chance Luka. Stop suppressing. When was the last time you’ve ever touched a woman?” She seductively said.
I didn’t answer her. The next thing I knew was she was straddling on top of me, kissing my lips and neck. “I can make you feel better, Luka.”
She then undid the buttons of my shirt. I helped her out of her little blouse. She was now sitting in her bra and her black skirt. I kissed her back, trailing my lips from her lips down to her neck. I then stood up and laid her on the couch with me on top. She was moaning my name. I suddenly came to my senses.
‘She’s not Bellamy. You should stop’ Leto growled. I tried to ignore him at first. But I quickly jumped up.
“Go home, Ellie!” I spat as I hastily wore back my shirt.
“You clearly want me, Luka. What’s stopping you?” She said. Ellie did know what I wanted but she’s not the girl I want to be intimate with.
“Whatever we had before was long gone. You know I only stayed with you because of s*x. Bellamy is the only girl I’m going to be intimate with.” I said brushing my hair.
“Where is Bellamy? Upstairs sleeping. Not knowing when she’ll ever wake up!”
I then lunged at Ellie and put my hands on her neck. Choking her.
“What did you say? You have no right to talk about her that way. She’s my woman!”
“You said it yourself, you want to put her to rest. She’s not coming back, Luka.” I then stopped myself from killing her.
“Don’t ever talk about her that way.”
“I’m sorry, Luka. I know it’s ridiculous. I just don’t want to see you miserable anymore. I want to be there for you and Comet. I know it’s hard but you have to try. For Comet, for you.” She said bowing her head in embarrassment.
“I can take care of myself, Ellie. I can take care of my son.”
“And run the pack. Luka, give me a chance. I want you. I’ve loved you since we were teenagers. I’m gonna love you endlessly if you let me.”
I know this was something that didn’t need any room for discussion. It was only going to be Bellamy. Ellie was a thing from the past. I did have to admit. All the work was getting to me. I was worn out and overwhelmed and was grieving for Bellamy. A voice in me was saying to give her a chance but a huge chunk was telling me not to betray Bellamy.
L**t got the better of me and I took Ellie’s lips back. I admit it was revolting. Nothing ever smells and feels as good as Bellamy. Ellie unbuckled my belt and slid down my pants. She took me the way she knew how. The way she always did. If it was back then I would’ve been into it but her touch felt like my skin burning.
‘You’re hurting mate… again.’ Leto whispered. He was sad and hurt.
I then pushed back and wore my pants again.
“Ellie. I can’t love you. Not the way you want.”
Before she could say another word, I pulled her hand and threw her out the door, before I could close the door she spoke “I’m not giving up Luka. You letting me take you is a sign that we do still have a chance.”
I shut the door and slumped on the couch.
I was getting tired of waiting for Bellamy. But I didn’t want to.
‘I’m sorry Leto.’
‘Mate will understand. Once she wakes up.’
‘Leto. I don’t think–‘
‘You waited this long dumbass. Mate won’t leave us. She promised’
‘I hope so.’
