Wedding Day Vampire
Chapter 77

I didn’t waste time in going into their presence as the book told me all I needed to do. I flew to the heart of mother nature, united the gem pieces thereby summoning them and poured my heart out to them when I did. The leader of the supreme council; the one who sat in the middle, then spoke to me.

“We have a solution to your problem, we can take away your immortality and make you a human so that you can be reunited with the one you love, but keep in mind that once you offer this sacrifice, your decision can not be changed. You will begin a new journey and you will bring back five ingredients; the first is waters from the evergreen river, tears from the black dragon, earth from the volcano of life, a speck of pixie dust from the enchanted forest, and finally your immortal b***d.

“All these ingredients are needed to make a sacrifice at the center of the heart, where you first summoned us. If your sacrifice is accepted, then you will become a human in three days. If it is not, then you will not be able to try again for another one thousand years. But keep in mind that the sacrifice is not permanent; you will become a vampire again but it will not be now, it will be in a second life. You will return to this earth as your 200th descendant with no memory of who you were before. And on your descendant’s 18th birthday, she will become a vampire and things will go back to the way they were before, meaning you will return to the world of the supernatural.

“It would do you good to know that the human life is very fragile, and once you become one, you will not only have a short life, you will also lose all your powers and your supernatural abilities, you will be prone to sicknesses and injuries that mankind suffers from, and death will be much closer to you. We would advise you to think very well before making this decision, as it cannot be reversed.”

I couldn’t contain the excitement within me, so there had been a way all along? I thought about it. My life would go back to the way it was before I became a vampire, I would have a husband once again, I would be able to eat food once again, I would be able walk out in the sunlight, and would no longer be a slave to the moon. All this sounded too good to be true, that I ignored the warnings the supreme council gave me, I didn’t pay attention to the fact that they said one of my descendants would reincarnate as me and would become a vampire again. The only thing I was interested in was being with Johnnie, and so from there, I left their presence and began my quest.

It took more months for me to replace the exact locations of the ingredients, but I did. I made sure to keep everything I was doing a secret from the other coven members, and only wrote about my adventures in my diary. I would finally tell them that I was going to join the natural world when I have finished my quest.

The evergreen river, so beautiful. I found her in the spirit world, I used to hear about her when I was still a human in the church, but everyone just thought it was a myth. I went to the north pole to meet her after she called me, and she was just as beautiful as the books described. She searched my heart and after seeing it was pure, she then welcomed me to take her waters and I did. I now had the first ingredient, the first stepping stone to me getting my humanity back.

The next ingredient was tears from the black dragon, I travelled to China to meet Yin in the watery cave of the Heilongdawang temple, the temple of the black dragon king. Yin was such a sweet soul, and it was such a shame that she didn’t get any praise or recognition for the good job she was doing here on earth. All the praise and offerings went to the one who was responsible for all the misfortune; her brother, Yang. Yin became my friend, and I gave her some encouraging words after I met her in her cave, crying. I told her that no matter what, there were still people who believed in her, and didn’t care if she had black skin or not; I was one of them. She promised me that she would stop crying one day; and I do hope she did.

Anytime I went to replace an ingredient, I always carried a lot of vamscren along with me so that I could travel during the day and my journey would be faster. It took me almost two years to replace all four ingredients, even with all the vamscren I used.

The third ingredient was earth from the volcano of life, the volcano had not been active for centuries, and in it lived a greedy troll who wouldn’t let me take some of the volcano’s earth. We had a fight, which led to me throwing her into the Caspian Sea below. I do hope she survived it, as I didn’t check to see if she did after taking the earth she needed.

After getting those three ingredients, it was just smooth sailing from there as the only two things which I needed were pixie dust from the enchanted forest which I had been to before, and my own immortal b***d. I went to my friend, Mariana and she gave me some of her magical dust, and then I gathered the ingredients along with the big gem, and flew down to the heart of mother nature.

I performed the sacrifice right in the middle, doing all I had been instructed to by mixing the ingredients. I removed a dagger from my bag and pierced my skin, allowing some of my b***d to flow into the concoction before the wound closed. The five ingredients were now complete. I took the gem in my hand, broke it down again and placed them back on the stones according to their size. the gems began to glow, I guess it probably meant that the council had received the sacrifice, as the concoction I had made in the middle suddenly disappeared. I returned back to the castle when I had finished to inform the others about what I had done, and from there, I would head back to John’s house, after a long time of being away from him.
